Hate to mention this - but have you done your Christmas Shopping yet ?

i had a nice day.
my daughter is back visiting from the West Coast (I'm on the East coast) so we went out for a late breakfast,
did a road trip to show her the local sights, and then back to the apartment for a good chat.
She's flying back home tonight, but will be comming back home for a Christmas visit.

Oh wonderful

I've my daughters and their respective husbands , and the 3 grandchildren - so as they are 400 miles away it will be money into their bank accounts. I once sent the granddaughter a card with a gift voucher in - and it didn't arrive so now money goes in the bank and they can spend it as they wish.

GodPapa has his - sort of He got a Gorillapod tripod [ a bendy thing ] for his camera so he could use it with his bikes - he thinks that was his Birthday and Christmas combined - but I'll find something small and nice as well and he'll get that for Nativity.

The Hop-a-longs are a bit of a problem - the grandchildren are 5 and 10 - not sure about them and I've a posh Christmas pud and a bottle of wine to take over with me on Christmas Day.

I brought back GodPapa's pressie to me with me - it's wrapped and I know it's a book - but I don't know what book. I might open that on St Nicholas [ the Ukrainian day for pressie giving ] or I might keep it for Nativity.

Well, you all sound to have had a good day. Pdudgeon, that was nice for you, seeing your daughter.

No Christmas shopping for me. I can't seem to cope with it.

I had Father in stitches tonight. Christmas is a bad word for me, and I hate to hear it so early. Bad memories! But at the end of Mass tonight, Father used the word "Christmas"
And I made a face at Bob, and then covered my face. Father saw me do it, but then I immediately smiled at Bob over it, but Father went on to say that word loads of times and I collapsed in silent htsterics on the front row there, in my wheelchair (an old one).

As we went along the corrudor to where Father was shaking hands, he saw us coming, and even before we got to him he was shouting out to us about thenhilarity at the front. I told him it was a banned wird, and ge was laughing loads too, at me, and shaking his head from side to side as he did so! Itwas great.

Oh I hate that too. I cant see to do it now, but will have to.

Indont know why, but I cant seem to get my head together to do things even now, after the cancer. I seem to still have some blocks in my head where my thinking is nit straight, and Ingo screaming!

What's going on? Bob's wheelchair that he uses in the house has now broken. It was soecially made for him on the NHS. The seat has broken in two. Wjat the heck? Is this a wheekchair assassination? What Re we going to do? We are STUCK!

Anhelyna, I dont know. Why should TWO go in one day? This is really weird!

I don't have many to write - but I know my first one will drop through the letter box no later than December 1 !!

That's been happening ever since we were married - it comes from my husband's cousin - and I can't remember when I last saw her - certainly not at his funeral !
