• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

My Scrupulosity first was fear of hell, and then it became worse and fear of a lot of things and anxiety. When i saw hell in a book in a website in television I became so anxious I had to stop what I was doing. And it showed up again. I like a game show which is clean and fun, and there was a game called hellish wheel and I became anxious and my fear showed up.

Do you think I should have this fear? Or it is not bad or sinful to do things if there is anything about hell? Or is it just my OCD? So should I fight against it?

I don't know, please help me.

Well I'm not OCD, but I avoid everything like that, bc it also makes me nervous. :) I know Yeshua doesn't want us on the wrong side looking at devil stuff, because you need to focus on Yeshua. However, there's no need to fear. Yeshua conquered death and the grave. And He is more powerful then Satan and all his demons! So don't be afraid. You got Yeshua. Satan is scared of you , bc You have Him. Well he's not scared of You...per se, but He knows he better watch out, coz that girl got her a strong connection with Yeshua! And we know he doesn't like Him. Lol.

You don't need to fear hell to the point of anxiety. I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in heaven or hell. But when I was a Christian, I would have told you that God does not want to send anyone to hell, except people who continuously and willfully disobey Him. And that does not sound like you. Since God is love, He doesn't want you obsessing about this. He loves you and wants you to be happy and He knows you struggle with anxiety.
