Hi Farout
It is with some measure of regret, that the recent software change
means that so-much of CF's history is now unreachable, but especially, with broken links
and added photos, being apparently beyond reference
The 'feeling-tired' I can appreciate on a very personal level
durability is limited
However my BP meds and Beta-blockers, and the odd nap, keeps me going, today
Prior to my 2nd divorce, I was a sole trader, providing property repairs and improvements
until I became ill with Peripheral Vascular Disease, which symptoms were ameliorated
with four angioplasty procedures over 3-4 years
Since joining The Golden Eagles, I have also had two inguineal hernias repaired (bilaterally)
I have been informed that 'risk' is now so-great, that I can no-longer have Elective Surgery
and am now, Emergency-Only
I am originally from Bristol and apart from my time in the army, I spent my entire 'life' there
I was introduced to my Mary (here in Manchester) online, in 2006
and moved here to be with her in July 2007
I wasn't looking for yet another 'relationship' as I felt I wasn't 'up to it' (physically)
Surprise-surprise, we will have clocked-up nine years 'together' in July next year
65, was the retirement (by age) and there has been some announcements re: the intention
(by government) to raise the retirement age, to 70
Presently, I am the official Coordinator for our local neighbourhood watch (Home Watch)
and I liase, between residents, the local Housing Authority and Police ~an unpaid (voluntary) position
I know for certain, that we have our fair share and more of temples, mosques and churches
have a huge Jewish population (just up the road a-ways) and many languages (other than English)
are spoken in our area alone....
Almost unbelievably, I have read that 200+ languages are spoken here in Salford, Greater Manchester
