So they knew. They were able to use their present state knowledge to get information about the future state.

Except you can't say exactly when they changed, what caused them to change or even provide evidence from the real world that there was a change.

God created and God sent the flood, and God changed things after that. The time of the nature change I have said to within a likely parameter of time.

I then pointed out that all the other "time tested words of God" - namely, the holy texts of other religions, whose adherents believe those texts to be time tested words of God - are considered to be "just stories" by you. (post 939)

So if you can dismiss holy texts as just stories, despite the fact that the followers of those religions consider them to be time tested words of God, why can't I do the same thing with the Bible?

One does not point to other books to determine Scripture is a certain way.

Its true one can argue either description fits the facts. it is not true you can say its wrong to declare that the earth rotates. And it makes the description of things easier to say its the earth that rotates.
