That's correct my friend.Yes; there's also LA Ink and NY Ink.
Yes, and the fact that your mom is pretty relaxed about ink kind of proves the point, I guess, right?

I think there's also a show called London Ink. I'd be surprised if some of the London parlors are not open evenings, though. Over here a lot of parlor are open late at night. That's correct my friend.
They may been in London, not in a town like mine.I think there's also a show called London Ink. I'd be surprised if some of the London parlors are not open evenings, though. Over here a lot of parlor are open late at night.
By the sound of what you told me, your mom would have been rather relaxed and pleased when you did yours, rather than dubious and anxious!
Yes, well, for example they call Los Angeles the City that Never Sleeps, and a lot of places are open 24/7 in many North American cities, and parlors are often open late at night also: in more ways than one, ink is a buyer's market. Las Vegas is also quite a centre for tattoo art. They may been in London, not in a town like mine.
That sounds like a very good idea to me, I work long shift so I have to get days off when I have mine done.Yes, well, for example they call Los Angeles the City that Never Sleeps, and a lot of places are open 24/7 in many North American cities, and parlors are often open late at night also: in more ways than one, ink is a buyer's market. Yes, well for instance in Las Vegas the night scene is very much alive and although some of the entertainment stuff in Vegas is over the top and even sinful, so many businesses tend to be open at night and so I guess it would be inconceivable that some parlors would not be open also. You would probably enjoy checking out the parlor scene in Vegas anyway (and so probably would your mom and dad. I'll copy a URL to you.)That sounds like a very good idea to me, I work long shift so I have to get days off when I have mine done.
Sounds great thanks.Yes, well for instance in Las Vegas the night scene is very much alive and although some of the entertainment stuff in Vegas is over the top and even sinful, so many businesses tend to be open at night and so I guess it would be inconceivable that some parlors would not be open also. PS: What I would add is that often tattoo artistry is done by men and women who also work at other jobs; and so over here 'staggering' the hours does makes some sense, as regards opening times for parlors. That sounds like a very good idea to me, I work long shift so I have to get days off when I have mine done.
I see yes, do your parlours have to go through strict regulations?PS: What I would add is that often tattoo artistry is done by men and women who also work at other jobs; and so over here 'staggering' the hours does makes some sense, as regards opening times for parlors.
Every US state and Canadian province is regulated differently. The Federal governments don't inspect parlors; it's the state and provincial governments that do. For example, the age one needs to be before getting a tattoo does vary from place to place; in one or two state 14 year olds can do it with parental permission; other places it's 16 with parental permission; in a lot of states and in all the Canadian provinces it's 18. (I think it's 18 in the UK also, right?) I saw on wikipedia or someplace a schedule of how such regulations differ from place to place. One interesting thing is that a lot of parlors positively invite regulation, because in terms of their reputation it's in their interests.I see yes, do your parlours have to go through strict regulations?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_status_of_tattooing_in_the_United_States14? That's crazy!
18 over here.
Get caught underage and your arrested.
I guess it stands to reason that the Federal Government of such a huge country is not going to be responsible for inspecting and regulating parlors, and so this is why the state governments do it and so inevitably some of the regulations will differ from the place to pace. A bit like speed limits on the roads. Every US state and Canadian province has different speed limits.Cool - I never knew that.
That sounds very complicated; in the UK central government in London controls everything.I guess it stands to reason that the Federal Government of such a huge country is not going to be responsible for inspecting and regulating parlors, and so this is why the state governments do it and so inevitably some of the regulations will differ from the place to pace. PS: I guess in some places it's treated a bit like ear piercing.14? That's crazy!

For a young man growing up it's simply the thing to do, I guess; and anyway it seems to be the order in which things are done, ear first, then first ink (both are often a rite of passage thing, I guess, really, right?).Yeah my ear is pierced, hardly ever wear an earring though.
Yeah it's in the normal order, I've had nothing crazy done. For a young man growing up it's simply the thing to do, I guess; and anyway it seems to be the order in which things are done, ear first, then first ink (both are often a rite of passage thing, I guess, really, right?).
