Bottom line: Even with the most iron clad rock solid evidence there are still people that will dispute the results. Or they will do as your attempting to do and claim there is no evidence when tons of evidence exists. So I do not know if this is ignorance or fraud to claim that there is no evidence.

What to do when caught using fake dino prints? Distract them with a fake Jesus relic.

What transpired between their initial "discovery," to the time they were exposed as fake?

I'll take a guess and say they made the covers of Scientific American, Popular Science, and into the textbooks of academia.

Ditto for Pluto and Haeckel's drawings.

You mean their initial forgery?

I'll take a guess and say they made the covers of Scientific American, Popular Science, and into the textbooks of academia.

Why don't you actually look up some facts?

Ditto for Pluto.

Huh?

I doubt the dino footprints made to any of those unless they were reporting the fraud. You can show different?

Well Pluto and Haeckel certainly made splashes somewhere.

Maybe not in those publications; but they interfaced with the general public somewhere.

So if, as you guys like to claim, the past is the key to the present, then I would say it made it -- somewhere.

You don't even understand the science behind astronomy or embryology. Don't pretend to speak authoritatively on subjects you are ignorant of.

Yes, on creationist websites where the creationist forgers tried to pass off their forgeries.

Neither one of those are frauds. Haeckel made a mistake. Most of what he used was correct and it was scientists who found the problem and corrected it, not your ilk. As for Pluto, science corrects itself. The best educated people at one time believed the planets were gods. You want to go back that far and worship the planets?

Most have concluded that Haeckel purposefully exaggerated certain features.

What I find the most entertaining is that creationists usually aren't able to describe what is actually wrong with Haeckel's drawings.

And what's the difference between purposefully exaggerating certain features, and purposefully setting aside general relativity to say the Bible teaches geocentrism?

In other words, none of them were frauds, were they?

Oops! You said Pluto ... sorry.

Not Moses.

Remember him?

He's that guy scientists say didn't live in that country that was founded before Noah ever had children?

"Egypt," I think it's called?

What God calls the "Iron Furnace" and placed off-limits to Old Testament saints?

You don't even understand what Haeckel was wrong about. Evolution is equally supported by the accurate drawings and photographs of those same embryos.

Oops! You said Pluto ... sorry.

What does that have to do with anything?

Not Moses.

What God calls the "Iron Furnace" and placed off-limits to Old Testament saints?

Do you have evidence for any of this? Are you confusing a book with a deity again?

It's awful coincidental then that you guys seem to be absent when someone gets on us about the Bible teaching geocentrism, but seem to be around when we say something against science.

For the record ... and I'm entitled to my opinion ... but for the record, I don't think you would chime in with one word against your comrades if they got on us about the Bible teaching geocentrism.

It's usually left up to me ... a Fundamental Independent Baptist who doesn't know diddly about science ... to defend such false accusations by invoking general relativity to show the accuser that it is he, not the Bible, that is in error.

Something, in my opinion, you guys should be doing for us.

And ditto for flat earth, witch hunts, the Inquisition, the Crusades, and ten other things your comrades think we're hypocrites for not doing.

If I was a real, Spirit filled, professional scientist, I would ask my comrades to please stop throwing the scientific method around, if they don't know how to apply it properly to the Bible.

And using words like "magic" and "poofed" would irritate me.

You sure do love to tap dance around and shift-ball-change the scope of the discussion.

You've been a member of this forum since I was in elementary school and have written more than three million posts here. You could have utilized your time more productively over the past nine years to remedy yourself of your profound ignorance about science. You choose to proudly "know diddy" about it, which to me is an impoverished choice, and one that is incredibly counterproductive to the self-appointed mission you've embarked on here. You could at least try to set an example of moral character as an elder and a Christian rather than making inaccurate statements and accusations against others, which you manipulatively frame as merely being opinions. I'm a college student and a Christian, and I act independently here and in my personal life. I'm not responsible for what anyone else has written or failed to write, and I'm not a part of any allegiance other than to God. I have and I will continue to dispute inaccurate statements about science or the Bible that I encounter, regardless of the religious beliefs of the person making them. I do not devote massive amounts to this forum, though, because I have too many obligations to prioritize.

Science puts out its own fires.

Almost everything they disseminate to us has been obsoleted, modified, or exposed as fra ... er ... "mistakes."
