Urgent Prayers for 4-Month-Old Baby

Finn went to bed around 9pm and he did not make one peep all night! He woke up at 5am so we did morning meds and a diaper change. He has been rolling around in his crib and talking to his pacis ever since. We are about to move downstairs for the day and catch the end of Octonauts!

He is still sounding congested when he wakes up but again, this weather has just been crazy and Finn isn't used to daily air changes!

Two of the Halloween costumes came in the mail yesterday; Dorothy and the Lion! We will have to try them on today to make sure that they fit!

Agenda today is pretty packed! We are changing all of his G Tube lines and he has PT today. I would also like to try to give him a bath!

Additionally, if it rains again today, Finn and I will be headed out in the rain (just right outside our door for about two seconds haha) for him to really experience it bc he hasn't yet! He was covered up really well yesterday bc it was pouring. ️

We all had a great weekend even though we stayed indoors. And I think, by now, it is safe to say that we have officially avoided the hurricane! Woo hoo! It definitely rained a lot and was cold and dreary but it can always be worse.

This week is filled with appointments, a visit to the aquarium and then we end the week with Mason's second birthday party! It's going to be a very busy but exciting week!

We are all now headed for upstairs bedtime routine. We hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Happy Sunday!

Finn slept great last night. He went to bed at 8:30 pm and I only heard him stirring once at 4 am. He is still asleep now but Mommy has major insomnia! Probably bc I am so excited we get to go to the aquarium tomorrow! I just can't wait.

Finn has a follow up speech/OT appointment today and we have someone else coming by this morning to do some paperwork for his home health care. Busy Monday!

Finn had a great but BUSY day! OT, speech, meeting this morning and LOTS of running around and prep for our trip tomorrow! I can't believe Finn is meeting a real shark!!!! I'm so excited!!!!

Finn had a pretty good day. He actually slept a decent amount but I'm sure it's because he had such a big day yesterday and woke up a couple of times last night. He had some physical therapy, took a nap, and then had a little more physical therapy. He tired pretty easily but the therapist was really working him today and he tolerated it really well!

His teeth seem to really be bothering him. I feel so bad. You would think that after all he has been through maybe he could get a break with his teeth but it's all in the "fun" of experiencing what it's like to be a normal baby. Sorry Finn!!!!

Tomorrow, Finn is getting his nine month shots and his flu shot. He has an appointment first thing in the morning so that he can have snuggles the entire rest of the day. We will also get to find out what his weight and height are and what percentiles he is in!

Finn had a good day! He got his shots and pretty much slept all day. He was the most snugly he has ever been. Here is a look at what we have going on in the next few days!

This Saturday is Mason's birthday party and Monday, Finn and Mason are going to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins! We are going with some fellow heart families!!! Next Friday, I am taking Mason's cupcakes to school for his birthday and then next Saturday is his actual birthday! There are some other fun things in between but those are the main items.

Finn slept great last night! He is up and ready to play this morning but not before he gets some Sunday morning cartoons in! We will recover from big brothers party today, do some errands around the house and then head to the pumpkin patch tomorrow morning!!!

This is completely breaking my heart. This is our dog, a Golden Retriever named Summer. A few months ago, she was diagnosed with kidney failure. She is normally all over Mason and vice versa. They have always been best friends. This morning, she has been crying, having difficulty walking and is laboring to breathe. I brought Finn downstairs and put him on the floor to play. She came and laid down beside him and then she placed her paws on him and kept them there. Finn leans to her as if to tell her it's going to be ok. I pray that Summer will be ok as these boys love her to pieces.

Finn has had a good day with doggy and big brother and his shark blankie! Summer the dog perked up as soon as Mason woke up and came downstairs. To see her experience some normalcy today is such a comfort. She and Mason are currently outside playing while Finn is about to have a feed.
