My Tectonic Plates Challenge

it wasn't me, Noah's flood did it!

Are christians not supposed to believe in plate tectonics? Granted Gods not worried about if you believe in them or not.

Why would they want to do that experiment? It doesn't model plate tectonics, if that is what you were hoping to do.

Plates getting stuck together and suddenly releasing is what causes earthquakes.

If God created the universe and everything therein within 7 days, why did it take 40 days to flood the earth with water which is said to have prevailed upwards until they covered the mountains upon the earth, and where did all the waters go that covered the mountains ?

Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. Genesis 7:20

Ever consider the flood wasn't referring unto waters?

I do not question that it is ineffective for them, simply because they do not know how to pray.

There is at least three stores in the Bible of the effectiveness of intercessory prayer. One was a boss for his employee, one was a mother for a child and the third was when the friends cut a hole in the roof. Of course none of these were strangers praying for someone that they did not know. Still I have been a part of various church prayer groups or prayer chains and we often got results and received our request. It would be interesting to run a study to see how effective it is for someone to add their name to a prayer list in the church bulletin.
