I overlook bad language on shows I find worthy otherwise. I don't think it's gratuitous, as it is in most movies, and TV shows, on some of the reality shows. What I really object to is those who say stuff like "What the frick?", thinking that, by substituting another word, they're not really saying what they would say if they used the real word. One movie I recall, quote:"If you're going to use the f word, you might as well get mileage out of it." The shows I'm talking about are those involving life and death, possibly, and some of the guys cuss like a sailor (because they're sailors working on a boat). What I don't understand is why the writers have to script bad language, and then the actors have to say it. But then again, there's "Patton".What I guess I meant was that the shows are supposed to be about tattoos, successful or unsuccessful ones.
I guess any bad language that filters through as well is collateral damage.
