ladies and gentlemen/men and women

When I was young I liked Calamity Jane with Doris Day when she dresses all up and then falls in the mud. Lol I once dressed up like her for a party and I came out of the toilet with my high heels and there was just a long thing of toilet paper on it. Didn't see it. A guy told me. Hey there's something hanging on your shoe.

I personally always open doors for people. I don't really think anything of it. But I just recently learned something interesting. In Japan, it's the opposite; women are supposed to hold the doors open for men. Some say this was a tradition because if there is danger in the place, the man will be first to see it/deal with it.

There was a guy on here who seemed to lose his mind last year when I mentioned chivalry and that men should act in a chivalrous manner. I need to look up that post.

When I think of the terms 'lady' and 'gentleman' ...I think respect. They tend to respect others, and deserve respect in return. But, 'man' and 'woman' ...that doesn't make me think the opposite.

I don't know Alex Jones. We play music on the radio at work and the rest of the day I dont watch much tv or listen to the radio.
