I feel that specific forums for studying the original languages would be useful in helping Christians to understand and thirst for Gods Word. I acknowledge we have a generic language forum under Leisure and Society, and a Christian Scriptures sub-forum, but this to me does not fulfill the specificity of Biblical Languages.
To begin with, Hebrew and Greek would suffice, since Aramaic among others is relatively rare.
Hopefully in time we could introduce lessons (which many members are competent at providing) for interested Christian parties to learn. While word studies and Bible readings would be beneficial to all.
Overall, I have in mind an edifying, welcoming, and quiet place for reflection and study. All of which many of us crave at times.
