Glasgow is a city very well served by public transport. After killing 6 people due to his condition, getting behind a wheel again is unbelievable in my books...

There are all sorts of ramifications to driving while banned - even if it is on medical grounds .
His family must have been aware that his licence was withdrawn - so did he take the car out with any of them in it ? Or was he alone ?
Since he's not allowed to drive - that means that he is not an insured driver on the Insurance Policy for the car - and that in itself is an offence - driving while un-insured. If he'd hit anyone/had any other form of accident - he would have been un-insured . The consequences of that don't bear thinking about.
If he's convicted of this offence life could certainly become very uncomfortable for him.
However we are going to have to wait for a bit until we hear about the outcome of this
The Procurator Fiscal will make the decision about charging him

who liked to make hours-long car trips, the yen to get behind the wheel again is always there.
only common sense prevailed in both cases.
so they did not drive, and both voluntarily surrendered their licenses.
for some people that idea of not being in the driver's seat
is very hard to accept, but necessary.

If you look at the main cam, they have put a couch next to the desk, in the livingroom/office... one of the batches will move there, and the other 2 will shift, to free up the one side of the sunroom.

Goodness - it is chilly - one of my radiators has come on !
My heating is set to come on when the temp is down at 17C [ 62F] and there's no thermostat on this one - it heats the upper and lower halls. All the other radiators are actually turned off.

Well, I am back home in one piiece!
Bruv was ok and amazingly so was mother, although she did complain to the,m about the food. Must admit it was not brilliant despite being posh! But actually it went ok.
I am now practising for tonight as am playing at Mass. We are playing a special one when the Bishop come at the end of Zoctober to celebrate Mass and bless the new stained glass window. So I had better get myself into good mettle LOZl. AND learn to behave!!!
