You can be flippant and try to excuse the rudeness by asserting that I "blew that out of proportion" if it satisfies you, but the polite and mature response would have been to simply recognize that it was a derogatory, hurtful, and inappropriate comment and apologize. I would have accepted if you had.

I've been underweight my entire life due to health issues I have very limited control over, and am as sensitive about it as the many girls who've been overweight for most of theirs. I had two surgeries this summer, and the additional weight loss from them has made this a raw nerve subject to me. I've been a partner on YouTube since I was 12, and comments about my weight have been made on every dance video there since then. The difference is that the majority of people who follow me and make such comments there are kids. This is a Christian forum where the majority of users are over the age of 20, so I'd felt comfortable enough to share photos of myself with confidence that I wouldn't receive impolite questions such as yours.

I am sorry I offended you. I was still just asking though. You can choose to continue to think I was being mean to you if you want. I know the truth.

PS: I was 107 lbs in high school. Imagine that weight on a male of above average height. I was a chubby kid and my step dad would refer to me as fat butt (except the worse version of butt) and tank. I developed an eating disorder. You aren't much older now than I was then. So yeah, it was just a question and one that I meant, "Are you OK?" And no, you're apparently not. You're apparently sick. So I'll pray for you. Not everything people ask that others would feel socially inappropriate is meant to be offensive.

I didn't think you were mean; I thought you were tactless and rude. Even if that was not your intent, my intent was to make you realize how some could take offense to such comments so you'd reconsider making them to me or to anyone else in the future.

FWIW, Artemis I can tell whatever your health problems are an eating disorder is not one of them. I have seen plenty of women with eds, their faces are gaunt and nasty and they look old before their time. Your face looks beautiful and healthy as does the rest of you.

I'm looking for the digging but I can't find it. It is almost as if you made it up along the way, as well as ignored my apology. It was a question. I didn't think it would offend her or I wouldn't have asked.

She is beautiful.

She's also 18 if I remember correctly. Maybe 19? This is me when I was 17-18. This is maybe 6 months after I began to eat normally again. You don't really look haggard when you're that young. Usually when you're a teenager with the disorder it is relatively fresh, as you haven't had a lot of time to progress the issue.



Glad she doesn't have it though. But it stinks that she has other health problems. Again, was only asking. Never meant malice. I know some people would love to think otherwise.

That was around Easter, if I recall correctly. Current Temps are still in the 90s.

We are starting some changes but not a lot. Still very lush and green. In the middle of a thunderstorm right now.
