Well, I won't be able to go to school this fall because I signed up for financial aid to late. But I will be able to go this winter.
I guess you will be working a job if you can find one then

Closing the Gap

Nearly 9 out of 10 believers say they are saved, yes. But empowered? No. Like the children of Israel, they are out of Egypt but not yet possessing the Promised Land. That’s about 2 billion people who call themselves Christians chugging along on a fraction of their horsepower.

What would happen if they got a tune-up? How would the world be different if 2 billion people came out of the wilderness? How many marriages would be saved? How many wars would be prevented? If every Christian began to live the Promised Land life, how would the world be different? With God’s help you can close the gap between the person you are and the person you want to be, indeed, the person God made you to be. The Bible says you can live from glory to glory. You just need to possess the land!

Here are today’s five thing to know about Macadamia Nuts:

  1. Macadamia nuts are native to Australia. They are named for John Macadam, a Scottish born physician and chemist who promoted the nuts cultivation in Australia.
  2. The Macadamia Nut is one of Australia’s few contributions to the world’s food plants, and this rich, buttery nut is considered by many to be the most delicious of all nuts.
  3. The Macadamia was introduced into Hawaii around 1881 and used as an ornamental. The first commercial orchards of macadamias in Hawaii were not planted until 1921.
  4. Most of the world’s macadamia nuts are grown on the island of Hawaii.
  5. Today Macadamias are cultivated in many areas, including Indonesia, Central America, South Africa, the West Indies, Mediterranean countries and California.

I just made some pulled pork and it turned out good.

I rubbed the pork with some dry rub and cooked it in a slow cooker for 8 hours with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of water, then I drain a lot of the liquid out and added some Sweet Baby Rays barbecue sauce, and it's been simmering all day.

For dinner, we are going to have pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans and corn-on-the-cob for dinner.
