Just not a team player?

just been thinking lately maybe the reason why im single is cos I'm not a team player? I'm useless at sports? I do better when I'm on my own?

Because I cant remember the last sports 'team' thing I did...which was netball in primary school, and I wasnt very good at it.

Although now i am on a cooking team for community meal and a garden 'team' i suppose at the community gardens. But we dont compete with each other. Also I want to join a choir which is like a team or group.

On group projects I feel sometimes sidelined or you get that one bossy person who takes over. Theres always one person who kinda ruins things, or you join late and they dont like you joining. I dont know.

What are your thoughts on this? People remark the western culture is very indivualistic wheras eastern cutures are more group orientated. Sorry if this post dont make sense. I just wonder if its cos I tend to do things on my own and dont like being told what to do...its not a bad thing its just maybe people who are coupled up just need the other person more.

I dont like any sport. I hate competing.
Sport is a big thing in my country. You are looked down on if you dont like it and dont care for it.

Yea..for women too.
Men like women who can go with them to rugby games or netball or cricket and talk sport like who won...half the news is devoted to sport, and if you didnt support the all blacks or team nz even if you have no idea how to sail, you are like a traitor to the nation.

When the world cup is on, the women organise cake days and we all have to pick a country and bring food related to that country. And whoever wins if we are that nominated country gets prizes.

Even my cat supports the All Blacks.

The last two bibles in schools lessons were about famous athletes who were christians. One ran and won the olympic games gold, the other played soccer for the all whites.

I dont know any...
If there are they must come from another country...

Rugby is the religion here.
I once went out with a pom. (English bloke). He was mad about football. He didnt like rugby, but he was always going on about football. Which is called soccer here.

Oh also went out with a kiwi with dutch mother...he was stingy, and he was mad about...boxing.

Why is that?????

Is dutch society completely elegatarian or something? Is chivalry dead?
