Compared to the level of attention and discourse in other cases, yeah, he's quiet.

Just so we're clear: the very next time President Obama has a press conference and addresses say someone getting killed by a gun no one in this thread is going to accuse him of "attempting to exploit a tragedy for his own ends!" right? Because I'm pretty sure that would have been how some would have responded if he had held a press conference about this. :wave:

It depends on if he IS using using it that way, as he is prone to. Like if he blamed it on guns rather than taking the opportunity to quiet down violence and racial ill will. Or blamed it on guns rather than any other of the many factors that could and should be spoken about. Or if he blames it on talk radio instead of the actual motives. You know, like what he does.

Let's not forget his perpetual silence on Kate Steinle too, not to mention the actual lies he and Hillary were dishing out after Bengazi.

Obama didn't make a proclamation to have the flags lowered at half staff at federal and other public buildings after the slaying of 4 and ultimately 5 servicemen by a terrorist in in Chattanooga Tennessee (July 2015).
Meanwhile, in my area the public schools and the veterans centers and other public buildings took it upon themselves to do so.

The point people are trying to make is that if he's going to come out and make an executive statement on matters that are local ("The cops acted stupidly"---a statement he made during the first press conference of his presidency), then his silence when cops are murdered all over the country by people of his own skin color (something that supposedly gave him credence to speak about "black" matters in the past. "If I had a son, he'd look like Treyvon") says just as much.

Also, challenging someone on an issue is not "hate".

Apparently it is if you are white and speak out against the criminal POTUS. That is why cowards like John Boener and the other RINO's have not had the usurper removed from office. The greatest negative for a politician is being called a racist, it is a career ender be it true or false. Of course if you disagree with the usurper you must be racist and full of hate. He gave "the Officer's" plenty of time, considering that no officer was even injured in any of the three cases that made national news (Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner), all of which resulted in unarmed black men ending up dead and the people responsible for their deaths acquitted.
