We watch the struggles of others and we see problems all around us. In fact, we talk about the struggles of others among our friends. We complain about the way things are in our own life and world. All the while, God looks down from Heaven and says, “I would help with that if you would just ask me.” You see the answer to the ills of our world is not political change. You can attend all the rallies you want and still our world is wicked and decayed. The answer to our problems is not more money. The fix for all our problems is to take them to the God of the Universe, the God who saved us from our sin, the all-powerful all-knowing God who is able to fight our battles for us and to change the hearts of men and women. If we want to change things, then it is time to pray. We need to pray consistently – don’t give up and don’t stop. Pray every day for situations you care about. Second, pray passionately. Pray boldly and ask God to do some might things that only He can do. That is the only way to change our world.
