You do realize she's defying God with her actions right? Honestly, have you guys even read the Bible?

Romans 13:13 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

She is in double trouble:

Not obeying the law of the land, and disobeying scripture.

You folks are just not listening...
You are listening to your own rhetoric and ignoring the rising mass of people who are gnawing at the bit for the next election.
Just not listening....

Listening? To you? The guy who's talking about camps and water boards and ovens?

No, we're not.

That mass of people isn't what you think it is.

Good luck though.

You can do whatever you want. :) But in the process you sure can't condemn or criticize Christians or Christianity when you're opposed to its God and yet in the demonstration of hypocrisy are a member of a community dedicated to all that you claim doesn't exist. :) That citation is afforded by every atheist here.

Then, we can throw out your claim.

Do you think a Muslim clerk should be able to deny Christians a marriage license, because they are standing up for their religious views and the constitution?
There's no religious question on the marriage license application. :)

Why are you calling out the hypocrisy of atheists, but ignoring the hypocrisy of this women you're defending who not only displays hypocrisy, but defies both the law of the land and scripture?

Doesn't matter, the Muslin clerk can see a cross around one of their necks and refuses to give the license, based on their religious beliefs and the constitution, according to you.

Haven't you learned anything about scripture while here?
You're wrong. No, I won't prove it. You haven't learned why in all this time so it would be a wasted effort to try again.

Ah, so you believe all Christians wear a cross around their necks? What's that? Like a tattoo or something, a marker, a tag that sets them apart as a mandatory attachment that identifies them to the public?

I don't know, looks pretty clear to me. And it appears, she is about to bring judgment upon herself, by her own actions.

Not what I said. Do some Christians wear crosses? I have seen plenty of them, how about you?

Refusing to sign marriage licenses for gays because of your beliefs while being remarried 4 times is the absolute epitome of hypocrisy. Defending such a horrible disgrace to Christianity is truly appalling.

Btw, I edited my post, it's Romans 13:1. Typo.

I think for the most part what is coining is out of everyone's hands. There is really nothing anyone can do to prevent it. All the laws, the mechanisms, and the rationale is there. Once it begins it will take on a life of its own. You will not be able to stop the machine once the gears start grinding. Even those on the contrary will be aghast at what is taking place. And of course they will all deny having had any part of what will be. They were all just "doing their job" and enforcing the laws as they exist.
Christians have been marginalized and demonized for 4 decades. Words like "hate speech" and "domestic terrorists" are being spoken openly and by the highest offices. A large part of the population really believes the rhetoric. They will not blink an eye once it begins. "I mean... these fanatics are terrorists, right? The deserve what they get.... They are haters, racists, and child abusers..."
Deny it if you like... I hope you remember this when it starts. You will not be able to say the old dids did not warn you.

Christians have been marginalized in the most Christian nation on Earth, really? I'm sorry that Christians weren't allowed to continue segregating blacks in the 60s, but that's not being demonized. I find American Christians crying persecution to be absolutely disgusting. How about we look at real Christians around the world being persecuted, like those in Syria being beheaded. Boohoo, a hypocritical Christian in name only can't treat gays like dirt by order of the Federal government. Eek, we're so persecuted.

Wow, some serious paranoia there.

-are you free to worship the God of your choosing?
-are you free to attend the church of your choosing?
-is your church free to define it's own theology?
-are you able to teach your kids the religion of your choosing?
-are you free to live your private life as you so choose?
