Apparently, some believe it's possible, if another thread I'm
involved in has anything to say about it.

Of course you are God, and your opinion is right. If you think you are not sinning anymore after salvation, you are sinning just believing that.
JohnLove1, what do you make of 1 John 1:8-10 then?Anyone who truly is a born again Christian/A Child of God’s is sin free.
Such a person has been given the Holy Spirit who gives one the knowledge of the truth.
If one truly has the Holy Spirit he or she will be given the knowledge of the truth.
Such a person becomes a Child of God. A Child of God can’t sin. Scripture tells us that, and it mean a Child of God can’t sin and be forgiven.
(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who has been begotten by God sins; because God’s seed remains inside him, he cannot sin when he has been begotten by God. In this way we distinguish the children of God from the children of the devil: anybody not living a holy life and not loving his brother is no child of God’s”
(Hebrews 10:26-31) “If, after we have been given knowledge of the truth, we should deliberately commit any sins, then there is no longer any sacrifice for them. There is left only the dreadful prospect of judgment and of the fiery wrath that is to devour your enemies. Anyone who disregards the Law of Moses is ruthlessly put to death on the word of two witnesses or three; and you may be sure that anyone who tramples on the Son of God, and who treats the blood of the covenant which sanctified him as if it were not holy, and who insults the Spirit of grace, will be condemned to a far severer punishment. We are all aware who it was that said: Vengeance is mine; I will vindicate his people. It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
No skeletons. Possibly just knowledge of scriptures and taking them at their word.I have never met a Christian who does not sin. If you have let me know, because I wonder what skeletons are in their closet.
Yes people quote that part of John’s letter, and how they can do so without feeling totally ashamed, I sure don’t understand.JohnLove1, what do you make of 1 John 1:8-10 then?
To the OP - nope! But my aim is perfection, even if I don't quite hit the mark! 1 Peter 1:16

Per the OP and in context, if we're to think we're to be perfect, which is impossible, while the Bible tells us in more than one scripture that the saints do not sin, what of Luke 18:19 "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone."
If one is given the Holy Spirit they will not sin, also having the Holy Spirit will bring one to know God.Any Christian who claims to have never sinned is lying plain and simple. If anything, we must continually admit our weakness and rely upon the Cross and the Holy Spirit for any hope.
You should remove my quote from your remarks. Because the slight of hand innuendo's you attempt to make about liars has not a thing to do with what I said and that you used as a quote from which to launch your statement. Thank you.Any Christian who claims to have never sinned is lying plain and simple. If anything, we must continually admit our weakness and rely upon the Cross and the Holy Spirit for any hope.

My mistake, sorry.I'm going to point out to you that I was talking to ChristsSoldier115.
Unless you are his other account you're out of line.
