We know the big things that liberals and progressives tend to support, but sometimes it's smaller, less visible issues that get really interesting.
For instance, I'm in favor of having a nationally-recognized complementary currency. The first and main currency being the dollar, obviously, but the second being a work/time-based currency. Many localities have this sort of system already, but there's always a risk of it becoming inactive or neglected. I even think this type of currency fits better with the recently-trending proposal to completely overhaul the design of the dollar to one that celebrates the US' scientific achievements.
My favoring of that idea has entirely to do with it reflecting a real value of labor in the price of goods, and (in the local currency context) the potential to help build up disadvantaged communities.
