Okay, next question: Since your flesh returns to the earth...is it (your flesh) passing away?

And as far as this question, I have no idea what you are asking. All flesh returns to the dust. But God condemned sin in the flesh through Jesus Christ our Lord. He nailed it to His cross, when He drew/dragged All men unto Himself.

We are to see NO MAN after the flesh anymore because of that, it don't exist anymore according to God, because of The Son's Sacrifice. In fact this was foreseen and told by God in Gen. "The End of All flesh is come before me". Gen. 6:13 This was a picture of The Cross.

I'm sorry but you are mistaken, this is All inclusive.
when he says, as in Adam All die, so In Christ shall All be made Alive, ....it's because of what He has accomplished, it's not according to our acceptance, it just IS. That's what Paul is talking about in this ch.

And as we have All borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bare the image of the heavenly, this is All inclusive.
I ask you...who is it that has Not borne the image of the earthy?
That would make Paul a liar or God, and Jesus, etc., etc....because of the thousands of other passages that eternally divide good and evil. But I believe it is not them at all. :(

That is all true...except, "all" are not drawn to Him saved, but divide into eternal judgement, some saved and some condemned. Daniel 12:2

"All flesh will see the salvation of God" (Luke 3:6)

Now, at this point, the partialist will say “Yeah, all will
see it but not all will have it."

Well, that isn't necessarily true, true, because:

"all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever."
(Psalm 145:21)

That's not so easy to do if one is busy wailing and
gnashing one’s teeth in an eternal fire pit. :)

Nice try, but you forgot verse 20:

20 The Lord preserves all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.

What they meant is that people who reject Christ do, in fact, go to Hell. Most people aren't Christians because they're afraid of Hell, and if they are, like I used to be, then they aren't Christians at all, like I wasn't back when I was afraid of Hell. God loves everyone, but many people reject Him and invalidate their own salvation because they decided, consciously or unconsciously, to reject Him. It sounds cruel, sure, but God can see the evil hearts of people and can find enough evidence to convict anyone of damnation. It's kind of ironic how moral relativists ask christians to let God be their judge, when really God won't be as nice with their sin as people would be!
See i dont understand that. They are afraid of hell so they avoid being Christian? They have so much to gain by being Christian! I just dont see how someone can deny Jesus Christ like He was a bad person or something...the Man did no wrong!! Yet people would rather follow nothing or something that can promise them a few bucks for a couple years and then torment forever. All these celebrities who have sold their souls for a little fame and everyone runs around them like chickens with their heads cut off when they are money hungry idiots who will face the burning pit! They will look great on the cover of People magazine then!!

This is the problem, you see, good and evil, wicked and saved, wheat and tares....etc. as individual people....but it's not.
It is within each person, Yes God will destroy the wicked "Within The person", yes, He will destroy the tares "Within the person, but What He has sown will come forth.
Haven't you experienced this within yourself?
God destroys the wicked within us, not us.

Luk_9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Gen_6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Mat_15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
Mat_15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Luk_12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Rom_10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

It's all about one's heart....For out of the abundance of the Heart the mouth speaks.

What is God's Grace?
It is The Divine influence upon the heart.

And like most, I bet you thought you chose Him, therefore you see those scriptures as condemning people when you see someone not saved yet. You put the choice on the person just like you think you did something and someone else didn't. Not so my friend.

Who do you think the man of sin is? Where do you think he abides?

The Carnal mind cannot receive the things of God, their not subject to Him. God's Grace is what changes the heart of the person, it is not their choice, it is God's Calling, His choosing, His divine influence upon their heart that changes them.

And how could they worship Him forever without first being
refined?

Getting their wickedness out of the way first so that they
can love Him would be a huge help to them, no?

No, you are making this into what feels good to you. You are not describing what happens within a person correctly - the old man dies, IF he turns from sin to have faith in the salvation of Christ, but not all do.

The scriptures clearly show evil being cast out and manifest [as whole people], then invited to repent (change), and then not all coming forth saved...many are called, few are chosen.

You are avoiding the obvious. It clearly finalizes the passage with dividing the wicked from those who love God. Within that defining point, then, you have your [partial] definition, which does not apply to "all", but only contributes to the greater "all". But you cannot take away the final defining point, the summation of the passage, and claim any [part] of it as conclusive.

When you come to accept the [whole] truth, perhaps we can discuss the consequences of things being the way they truly are. Until then, God bless you on your journey.

So they literally have to be chosen by Him to receive His grace? They dont just wise up on their own?

I wouldn't say that "angry Christians" long to see anyone suffer eternal torment. However, many of us are angry that the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is being trampled underfoot, as the society we live in seems to move further and further away from the God of our Fathers.

Jesus told us that was going to happen. But what did He say our response to it should be?

Sorry, but the God I believe in is far more competent than
the mainstream’s version. There’s just far too much
throughout scripture that points to this competence for me
to conclude otherwise. :)

No, that's the way you see it..."The many called".....are unto the Common Salvation/faith Jud 1:3 Tit 1:4
"The Few Chosen" are they who go further.....

Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Heb 6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.

The church for the most part, has never left the basic Principles of the doctrine of Christ.

Not to worry. Starting with perfection, imagine no effect of time, no deterioration; days without darkness, no valley or down-side, just one high point to the next, all the good, like fond memories. :)
God CAN create something from nothing. God knowing us before, is more a description of the "all-knowing" aspect of timeless eternity. But because the word of God is spoken to those of us who are not all-knowing, He alludes to his own perspective, as a Father speaking to a child. Likewise, the explanation of "tomorrow" to a toddler, is a matter that takes time to grasp. Time, is for just such a purpose.
You almost answered your own question, but then reverted back. You say that "God did not eliminate us..." but He did. He caused us to die in our sins (darkness), and offered us new birth in the spirit of God, a [completely] NEW creation. The old man of darkness is dead, and returns to the earth as dust. The earth is "passing away" because we in our darkness are passing away, and in its place is the Light of Christ, in whom there is NO darkness. Darkness passes away, and is no more.

Hey Scott, I'm sorry for the delay but I've been studying. I have made a new thread that I would like to invite you too. I really enjoy our conversation, but my entire reply was about whether God is eternal, so my friend 2KnowHim suggested I make a new thread. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you my friend and God bless.

Heb 6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.

The church for the most part, has never left the basic Principles of the doctrine of Christ.
Hebrews also says,

"But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons." (Hebrews 12:8)

So, being a child of God includes getting how He corrects us so we become "partakers of His holiness" (Hebrews 12:10) and His correction "yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness" (Hebrews 12:11).

So, as God's children we actively seek our Father to correct us so we share in His own holiness and have the "peaceable fruit of" His love's righteousness. He loves us by correcting us >

"For whom the LORD loves He chastens,
. And scourges every son whom He receives."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (Hebrews 12:6)

However, there are people who are not being corrected, as our Apostle Paul makes clear >

"But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." (2 Timothy 3:13)

So, every legitimate person is seeking our Father for His correction and is being corrected into His love's perfection >

"Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17)

"Well, I don't know any people who are being corrected and perfected in God's love."

"Your own character decides who you are able to connect with. So, if you have not been able to find and do well with the real ones, your own nature is making you unable to perceive who they are and appreciate their example; only in God's love can we see people right and know who to trust; in His love we have His light so we see people right > 'And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment.' (Philippians 1:9) So, you need to trust in Jesus and seek our Father's correction so you become able to discover who are the real ones."

"It takes one to know one."

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

So, we all are called to this, to be ruled by God's own peace in our hearts. So, if we are not obeying this, we need to seek our Father's correction so we are in His love's "peaceable fruit of righteousness" in our character so we become able to submit to how God rules us in His peace.

That, of course, is also, just how you see it. If you have ANY defining scripture(s) that say otherwise, we can discuss it, but so far you have not substantiated your position:

Jude 3
3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

Titus 1:4
4 To Titus, a true son in our common faith:

Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

The elementary principles of Christ, refers to the "many more things" that Christ had to say, that the disciples could not yet bear (John 16:12)...things that could only be received spiritually, hence His sending the help of the Holy Spirit. Would you like to discuss it?
