I wouldn't look for a religion if I were you. My definition of religion is: a revelation from God that people have ruined with their rules and regulations. On the harmless side, they can make some good God/Spirit themed social clubs!
Before I get stoned, I am not against church-going and theology. I go. I read and write it. I just think that the overlap of boundaries between the church as the body of Christ and the institutional church is not always the same.
I would just cut straight to the source and start seeking God personally through sincere and persistent prayer. Reading the bible can help too, but it can often seem inscrutable at first. Jesus was really a cool guy, and my life has been transformed by his love!
