Knitting is a favorite hobby of mine, and I believe it goes well with building Christian camaraderie; much like coffee bars are being utilized by missionaries to spread the word of God around the world.
Knitting originated in the Holy Land! I think that is so cool! Here is a picture of Mary knitting a tunic for the boy Jesus:
So, grab a cup of your favorite beverage, cozy up, and tell us what you are knitting or crocheting!
I will start. I am going to knit myself a short skirt in stripes mixed with these two different colorways. I will post pics as I go so you can see what I am talking about. I really wanted some Noro yarn (it is Japanese), but had to settle for this Tangier yarn as it was all my local yarn store had today. I chose colors 16 and 13. It is made in Seattle of silk, acrylic, viscose, cotton, and spandex. I am going to use size 8 rounds for my skirt.
