Same sex attraction is biological, exhibited throughout the animal kingdom. Therefore homosexuality, just like heterosexuality, is a matter of biology.

Oh...you're claiming that biology explains homosexual orientation and practice in humanity, why didn't you say that in the first place? That certainly takes away personal responsibility for one's actions. Neither should child molesters be held personally responsible for their actions.

Any activity of humanity can simply be explained away by 'science'.

You missed the 30 years War. The poverty in countries ruled by a god appointed king, and the killing of anyone who disagreed with the church.
The West left Church dominated or led Governments a long time ago. so it's hard to give modern evidence of the crulety they would inflict if allowed to.

The massacres in the Balkans is the only recent one. As for poverty, Communism promised the same, like the church is ended up with a few doing well and the rest doing a lot worse. The danger of a church led State is how the Church would impose it's will on the people. Teaching Creationism wouldn't allow you to preach that there was something that created something from nothing in the beginning. You would be stuck with Genesis, which you agree is wrong.

We have religious led States in the Middle East, the West has progressed from that. A Church led State would take us back to it.

Actually read the article, they are making headway.

The problem for me is why are gays such a threat? A child is more likely to get abused by a hetro sexual, rape is for more common in hetrosexuals. so what does the bible have against gays?

In the Torah it's a holiness issue, although I have seen good arguments that the words used in the Torah were in connection to things like temple prostitution and not a homosexual relationship. I'm not sure how valid or invalid it is.

"On their way to discovering" = they don't have a clue, only guesses and suppositions. Gonna be hard to convict child molesters when they find the 'gay gene', isn't it? With an atheist led government, it would mean simply removing them, or maybe a bit of mass murder to eliminate their political enemies. (See North Korea, Russia and China)

Why? The majority of child molesters aren't gay, so why would it be hard to convict? Also, the reason we jail them is that their targets are unable to consent to the actions being performed. Having sex without the consent of the other person is rape.

They didn't choose to be child molesters, their DNA made them that way. Same argument for homosexuality.
