Or if you're 23 and look like me. I pass for like 17-18 easily and it'd be a crime if anybody didn't card me ahaha!

I'm sure you will be quite happy, to look younger, when you are 50. :D

I'm Swedish, and it's very different with drinking, & carding. You can drink at 18. It's not so common, to be carded, unless you look well under 18. In America, I was lonely, on the weekends, as all my colleagues, they were older. They always went to bars, clubs, pub crawls, etc. I could never join them, as I'm not 21. Every place there, has a security guard, at the door, to inspect your ID.

I know. I prefer to hang out with older people, but it's hard to find older friends because a lot of them just want to party, and if you can't come with them, well, what's the point? So this drinking age at 18 sounds like a dream come true, not so I could drink, but so I could be included. :)

I doubt I would get carded, because I look older than 18. But I've never tried.

You probably would be, lol. You don#t look old lol.

Just saying.. after a while they know who you are and wont card you anymore, lol.

I think everyone is carded, at the bars, in the city where I lived, in the US. The first time I went out, with colleagues, I was in the back, of the crowd. Others were carded first. Every single person, was carded. This included, the balding colleague, in his late 40s! It's their policy. I had thought, that if I just explained, I didn't plan on drinking alcohol, I could still come in. The bouncer thought I was a moron, for even asking that.

Yeah when I was a cashier I used to card 70 year olds.

I'd be like ma'am, I don't think you're old enough to buy this rated R movie.

Yeah I can see the bouncer thinking that.

One place were I lived in England carded everyone even a man in his 90s haha it was because they got caught selling drink to 14 year old so part of their license they needed to card everyone they put the age in the till.

But here in the UK it really does depend.

I'd gone to nightclubs, in a popular spring break place, in Florida, that let you in at 18. They put a glow in the dark stamp, on your hand, so you couldn't order a drink. You'd be kicked out, if you had any of your mate's drink. I had thought, bars, and pubs, and such, that they were like this, also. I was wrong.

Lol, the man in his 90s hopefully took being carded, with humour.
