Seems to me after reading a lot of stuff on this forum that God is speaking. Mostly the same thing to be honest. He is fed up of navel gazing and our attempts at leading some sort of holy life, there isn't time for that anymore, it bores Him. What He is saying is right under our noses, do we really need any more confirmation or prompting that those four boys executed for their faith? We are a body not a group of individuals, it's time to Act as a church. He didn't make a mistake choosing you, He chose you before you was even born to play your part now, not later on when you are perfected. Get rid of the lies and crap from the past that make you think it's for others, it's your time now to make a stand and inspire your church. Your whole life has always been in His hands to take you to this point now. This is your time to do what He always planned you to do. If you don't believe this ask Him! Wake up and pin back your ears because He is on the move and He has work for you to do. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

What is God saying to the Church today? Several things actually. I'll mention two for now. The most famous version of (The Great Commission) is where on a mountain in Galilee Jesus calls on his disciples and followers to baptize all nations in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. "Go therefore" and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age."

Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, "Go into all the world, and preach the gospel (GRACE) to every creature."

God's (even more so) SAYING today, IS... to COMPLETE the mission He already gave to the Church from the beginning of His ministry. This mission was/is to (make disciples) out of new converts... to teach OTHERS to observe all the things that He had commanded. The Greek word for "teach" in this passage is literally the word that is translated "disciple" which is the emphasis here in the mission.

So what else IS God saying to His Church today? And, as we look around our nation and the world... What do we see? Sin abounding! What did God say would happen when "sin abounds?"

Romans 5:20b
"...But where SIN abounded, GRACE did abound much more."

This means that in these last days as SIN is abounding... The fullness of His Grace will be POURED out on those... WHO BELIEVE!

1 Timothy 1:14 "The GRACE of our Lord was POURED out on me (abundantly), along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."

The general consensus is these are the last days and in accordance with that the Bible talks about hearing what the spirit says. The Gospel will continue to be preached and disciples will continue to be made just as it has been for centuries so what is different now? If these are in fact the last days then He must be saying more than just continue as usual. Do we just watch the world in such a state of sin and wait for His Grace to be poured out on us or do we do something? I'm not talking about us as individuals though that is where it starts I'm talking about the church. So what can the church do? For one it can start by accepting the minor difference in doctrine the other local church has and join with them in the things that really matter, do something with them to break that stronghold. This is the Grace of your church towards another. Why does every church seem to think it has it all sewn up and the others are a little off? The enemy loves this disunity and it will continue until we do something about it. We need to wake up and stop swallowing gnats, oops! I mean camels. These are the last days and God is calling for unity with faith, this is what the spirit is saying,
Deuteronomy 1:6-8

6
The Lord our God said to us at Horeb, “You have stayed long enough at this mountain.7 Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighbouring peoples in the Arabah, in the mountains, in the western foothills, in the Negevand along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the Euphrates.8 See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the Lord swore he would give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to their descendants after them.”

Don't forget that God warned us that in the end times there would be a lot of deception creeping in.

Not sure about everyone else, but I'm not a big fan of being in unity with those that embrace ear tickling preachers and the merchandising of the saints.

Somebody needs to kick over the money changer's tables. Maybe we can get Donald Trump saved and filled with the Holy Ghost! Like him or not, he'll at least tell it like it is.

God is going to kick over a lot of tables in the church! These are the last days and yet we continue to offer sacrifices instead of asking Him what He requires us to do? The question we need to be asking is "Lord, what do you want me to do today". Obedience is more important than sacrifice. We don't know what He commands in order to be obedient we just carry on the same as always and we don't know what He commands because we never ask Him, we are far too busy for that. The Western world shows very little evidence of God's power, now why is that so?

1st Peter:

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
[18] And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
[19] Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Believe/Love... is His commandment. (Grace through Faith).yess-smiley[1].gif

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God

If the church does not act in accordance with the commandment to Believe and Love one another it is in rebellion.

If as an individual I hold a grievance against another member of the church I am in rebellion. If I hold a grievance against someone outside of the church I am in rebellion. If I moan about the leadership of the church I am in rebellion. If I moan about the government or any authority outside of the church I am in rebellion. Rebellion is the gravest of all sins.

It's one thing listening to the commandment to believe and love another but another thing entirely to hear those words. Many nod their heads in agreement listening but not hearing. What God requires above all else is obedience. Without obedience we are in rebellion and face judgement.

Are we the church of Christ or the church of Adam? When the church becomes the church of Christ the evidence of that will be seen by All as it will be displayed in the body that is His - the church. Is it fair to say the evidence displayed in the church in the West to be more Adamic than Christ like? I think it is.

Only when we are obedient and rid ourselves of all that hinders can we ask "Lord, what do you want me to do today?" and expect to get an answer. To hear what God has to say, we first have to listen and do so with more than our ears.

1 John 3:23-24
"And this is His commandment, that we BELIEVE in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and Love one another, just as He has commanded us. Whoever keeps His commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us."
