• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

If you like I will add you to my prayer list. I have seen a few healings, through prayer in Jesus name.

Oh no, I know the feeling! I too, have lupus and fibromyalgia! I know how the pain and flares are! :( Definitely seek your doctor's advice, there are some good medications out there that can control some of the symptoms! You're in my prayers!

I think there is a better solution though. You do not want to just control symptoms, you want to find the root cause and fix it. Your conventional doctor has not been trained to do that because the Phamaceutical industry controls medicine and their influence in medicine has turned it into a for profit industry. Therefore, curing disease is not the focus, but managing disease is the focus. As Bob said, a naturopathic or homeopathic doctor is who anyone should see if they are suffering with this and I know a very good one.

thanks you all for the advice i know that maybe natural and stuff can help with this but i know that i hurt all the time and nothing to take and all but just puh myself to work 40 plus hours and all

I'm the same way. Some days I'm in so much pain I can't even get out of bed. Like yesterday. There are medications out there that can help a great deal though, but there is no cure yet. It's our own bodies attacking themselves. Definitely keep your doctor in the loop on everything. I know my doctor has my health as his only priority. I've been seeing him for over 15 years, and he's the only one I trust my family to.

I have primary progressive multiple sclerosis. I know the pain of the nerves and know some with fibromyalgia. Feel free to talk to me. It is very painful when there are nerve issues. I'm glad to hear your kidneys are ok. That's great news to hear!

I hear ya on the pain. My issue is mostly fear. My mom and both sisters have tested positive for Systemic Lupus (SLE), and everytime I test, it shows I don't have it...yet. As you know, it can be there and still test negative.

that was the MS issue with me. Nothing showed on MRIs for 2 years but the symptoms were there and all others were ruled out. It was a relief and a painful period as well when the MRI came back with lesions finally. It was good to see and bad as well.

I know that, well at least the last I knew, there was nothing that pin pointed the cause for Lupus. Officially.
In my hometown, and the town (which covered about 1-1/2 square miles) and extended area (which covered about 16 or so square miles), we had a lot of Lupus as well as leukemia. In the town proper the population was about 150-200. Including the extended area, maybe 300-350. Now, who knows. It's grown a lot.

But in the town-proper, there were about 9 cases of SLE and about 3-4 of leukemia. 9 cases of SLE in a town of 150-200.
Hmmm.
