That for Ezekiel the abominable behaviour is arrogance and lack of care for the needy. Which is not what I'm used to the religious right accusing Israel of.

Arrogance-an insulting way of thinking or behaving that comes from believing that you are better, smarter, or more important than other people.

I don't see how deferring to God's judgment and wisdom is arrogant.

I would have no problem accusing them of that because I don't believe that the modern State of Israel is the work of God, it is the work of man. I would judge them like any other country.

In other cases this could certainty be true but it would need to be something that is open to interpretation among Christians. The perfection of God's justice is not negotiable.

So this guy is a repeat offender. He was just released three weeks before this parade after serving a 10 year sentence for stabbing three people at another gay pride parade. I hope this time they lock him up and throw away the key.

I hope he gets the help he needs. Whatever that may be and does no further harm.
