This whole forum is full of controversial opinions.

By the way, your Confederate flag avatar doesn't offend me. obummer is a bigger promoter of racism than any stupid inanimate flag.

I am very torn about this flag. I think as a piece of American history it should be kept on display in museums dedicated to civil war history. It wouldn't personally bother me if someone was a big history buff and had a room in his house with the flag and other war artifacts. I also wouldn't have a problem if someone had a Nazi flag and other German uniforms or helmets in a display case. Preferably not flying the flag on the porch (that sends a very bad message) I like Roman and Greek history and am not offended by busts of certain caesars or other roman artifacts. From a history standpoint this stuff is unique and interesting.

I don't think that government buildings in the south should be flying it though. I also think that people should consider how their actions affect others. I get that southerners are very proud of their heritage and may not think of this flag as offensive. I don't think many of them that have a confederate flag think anything of it. I wouldn't judge someone who had one as being a racist. I might reconsider that view if they started talking and proved to be one What I really don't get at all is why some Canadians who consider themselves to be tough and redneck need to put Confederate flag bumper stickers on their trucks/jeeps. That is just stupid, lol.

Controversial opinions, I have them but am I going to list most of them in a forum? Nope.

Here is one I am willing to discuss. Before you label the people of the Appalachian mountains maybe you should try to get to know them. Deliverance is not an accurate portrayal of hillbillies.

I see no problem flying the Confederate flag.

I think Obama is secretly a Muslim.

The Confederate flag is less harmless than the biggest divider of race and class, and his name is barry hussein OBUMMER.


Anyone remember the Beer Summit? Before he even had all the facts, he accused the White Police Officer of acting "stupidly". obummer was wrong about that.

I shall live vicariously through you as there is no way I'd ever be able to post all my opinions.

I'd have to say the biggest controversial thing bothering me is extremism. It's rising up in America and you're not allowed to have a dissenting opinion. They will scream in your face, spit on you, try to ruin your life, send death threats, shut down your businesses, and get you fired just for believing what you do. They will call you names and tear you down. Yeah, love definitely won #hypocrisy
