I'm reading right now that the Bride is Jerusalem. It makes sense because the Church is already righteous in the sight of God and we have no need to 'make ourselves ready'.

The Bride is the NEW Jerusalem. And she does need to make herself ready. What kind of bride does not prepare herself for a wedding ceremony?? Yet it is not us doing it, it is Christ (the Word) in us. If we have a perverted word in us, then we will not be ready. That is why God sent his servant to get us ready. It's just like the Chamberlain in the story of Esther. He prepared the women to meet the king. Brother Branham is that Chamberlain. If you have to read the story, you will know that all the other women chose their own garb and jewelry, but Esther asked the Chamberlain what the King liked. That is why she pleased him and the others didn't. He married HER, but the others still lives in the palace... The others represent the church. The church will still be saved, but only the elect will be his wife!

and the power play goes on, an on...
who will sit at His right hand. who will be in the third heaven.
Love is the answer because He is love.
and every person knows if they are in love or not.

I can probably guarantee that your idea of love is not God's love.

and does God look upon our hearts as man does?

God said that the heart is deceitfully wicked. When he looks at our love, he is not looking for OUR human sympathy. He is looking for HIS love in US. Let's search the scriptures to see what God's love looks like:

Mal 1:2-3 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, (3) And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

One example of God proving his love is that he loved Jacob and hated Esau.

Jesus is the epitome of Love, yes?

Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Jesus, being full of Love, told the pharisees the TRUTH. If you say you love someone, and that love keeps you from telling them the truth, then you do NOT have God's love.

Jesus, full of Love, GOD'S LOVE, told many parables, but did not explain them to anyone except his 12 disciples.

Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Joh 6:60-61 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? (61) When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
Joh 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Jesus taught HARD teachings, even to his disciples who were among the 70 that went into towns healing the sick and casting out devils. He never attempted to explain it to them, and they left him. In "Christians" eyes today, if someone were to do that they would say that he was a "hater" or that he needs to "Love."

You do not know the meaning of love. You have your carnal human sympathy and that is NOT what God is after. Because I LOVE people, I tell them the TRUTH, even though I know they will not receive it. That is what Jesus did.

were you addressing me when you said, "you do not know the meaning of love"?
dont believe thats allowed, seeing as how you do not look into my heart.

Jesus said you we will know what's in the heart by their fruit. He also said if you love him, to keep his commandments. Paul said "know he not the saints shall judge the earth? How then can you not judge in the smallest matters?"

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. That's what God said. Based on what you have said, knowing that it comes from the heart, I can scripturally see your understanding of love is not that which God portrays.

Please tell me where the Bible says that all that matters is what's in your heart. Because I read that man's heart is deceitfully wicked.

Ez.11:19
Rom. 8:1
phlip.2;13
good scriptures all to ponder and feed upon.
when aheart is made new in Christ Jesus we no longer serve sin for we have a new master.

But what does it mean to be in Christ Jesus?? Christ is the WORD. If you don't see the Word correctly, then you are not in it! How can you say you Love Jesus, but you deny the Word, which HE IS.
