balance is probably the key here.....a good guide is the Proverbs 31 woman who dressed herself and her family elegantly and with class, and they all were appropriate in dress and demeanor. In this day and age it would be the same......

modesty simply means that our attention is on what pleases God and doesn't discredit His name nor bring undue attention to ourselves.

We reflect "Him" and we can do that with elegance and grace.

Yes that's true, but they don't rape guys. We had a serial rapist in the city 20 years ago. I wore male clothes and male boots with iron in it and a helmet. He didn't bother me. The policemen dressed up like women to catch him lol.

Yes you're right, I mean the ones that only rape women don't. And God protects. I met one on a bike when I was 18 and when I said God is here he got scared and backed off.

God does not always protect. My daughter was raped twice (and she was dressed modestly both times).

I want to make heaven, and God has told me that the only way for me to be saved, is to give myself fully to the doctrines of the scripture and also teach them to others to be saved as well

I grew up fundamentalist, where these things were taken literally. I remember once when I was quite young, I was in my pajamas after my bath, and my dad was brushing my wet hair out. Suddenly he started braiding it. I was alarmed and told him Mommy would be really mad. He smiled and said this would be our little secret. " I felt deliciously naughty. He finished my hair and and stood me in front of the mirror. He hugged me from behind and said, "You are beeeautiful!" It was the most treasured moment with my father in my entire life.
