does anyone feel letdown after a holiday?

I worked yesterday and had a good time on July 4. Today is the 5th and it seems everything is just so slow and quiet and I'm not hearing from anybody. Does anyone else feel letdown after a holiday?

Up here Canada Day was July 1.

It's good have good memories of a special event, particularly if it involves Christian fellowship.

I usually just want to put my feet up, eat some ice cream, take a tap. Relaxation kicks in. But today I've watched postings here at CF (and the Japan vs. USA event in Canada).

My Saturdays are a bit hectic and I'm up at 4am which makes for a looong day. So by the time Sunday comes around I go to church, do my devotion for a teen mag, take the dog out and then try to relax.

honestly, I think it is all matter of perspective

my life is mess now, holiday seems like a real luxury to me...

so not really......
