I do not hold the premill view, because nowhere in the text does it say Christ rules and reigns for 1,000 years.
It says the "souls" reign with Christ for 1,000 years in Rev. 20. Whether this reign is in heaven or on earth is a topic we could write volumes on, so I will not go into that at this point. Volumes have already been written by others on the topic.

Rev. 11:15 says Christ reigns forever.

What if at some future point in time, I marry the Queen of England and I sign a prenup. saying I will reign with her for 5 years?
Does it mean she reigns for only 5 years?

In the same way the reign of the "souls" in Rev. 20 has nothing to do with the length of the reign of Christ.
Those that hold the premill position are making an assumption.

The battle of Armageddon is not at the end of the millennium in the classic premill view. It is at the beginning.

Also, he did not really discuss the fact that many who were not pretrib held the premill view.
Charles Spurgeon is one example.

There are many who are not pretrib, who hold the premill position also today. Pastor Sam Adams from Florida holds this position. Pastor Adams has exposed the false doctrine found in the Scofield Reference Bible.

The post tribulation thinker's error above .... an invalid excuse for not holding

He will rule for 1000 years [Ezekiel 36; 40-48; Micah 3:1-4; Zechariah 14:16-21]

And only after will His eternal kingdom of new heavens and a new earth come [Revelation 21]

There are things scheduled between [Revelation 20:1-3; 20:4; 20:5-6; 20:7-10; 20:11-15]

This one of the many reasons why the post-tribulation view is flawed

There will be mortal humans upon the earth living in the Lord's millennial kingdom

.... beginning with the believing mortal survivors of the tribulation, and these will reproduce [multiply]

If all believers were made immortal just after the days of the tribulation .... there would be none to enter and populate the kingdom

This fact alone destroys the exegetical position of the post-tribulation view

Satan will be kept from deceiving the mortals of the millennial nations .... immortals cannot be deceived by the devil

.... and the gatherings of the surviving mortals of the tribulation are not resurrections at all

These mortals will be gathered by the Lord and separated, sheep and goat, immediately after the days of the tribulation

Those found believing will enter the millennial kingdom .... those found in unbelief will be rejected

Israel will be gathered first [Isaiah 11; 27:12-13; Matthew 24:29-31]

Then He will gather the Gentiles of the nations [Matthew 25:31-46]

...And we are supposed to also believe the 2 Peoples/ 2 Purposes/ 2 Kingdoms/ 2 ways of Salvation (Grace and later Law Keeping)/ Scripture "Rightly Divided" into 2 Parts/ 2 Second Comings of Christ doctrine/ + Soul Sleep doctrine.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

...............................................................

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

...............................................................

1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

1Th 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
This verse connects the resurrection verses of chapter 4 to chapter 5.
It also rules out the 7 year stay in heaven between the two chapters.

.....................................................................

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Written to the Church.

2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. "We" here, is the Church.

2Pe 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. This was written to the Church.

.............................................................

Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

You can and will believe anything you want .... and you do

You swing back and forth from a preteristic/amil/post-tribulation position while at the same embracing replacement theology as I see your postings tell

And at the same time you grab the teachings some of the most sordid people and add them to your stack .... people that do not even agree among themselves

Get a grip .... study for yourself .... you are like the wind blowing this way and that .... like a ship without a rudder

Preteristic ??? I have never believed or said that Jesus returned in 70 AD or that the Book of Revelation is past.

Amill Guilty as charged.

Post-tribulation Again, Guilty as charged. I am in good company because Jesus, the Apostle Paul, and several other New Testament writers said the same thing.

Replacement Theology Since the Gentile branches were grafted in among the believing Israelite branches of Romans chapter 11, it would be Dispensational Futurists who are those really guilty of "Replacement Theology".
They have replaced the One Seed of Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds.

Through many hours of intensive Bible study, I have not been able to find the...
2 Peoples/ 2 Purposes/ 2 Kingdoms/ 2 ways of Salvation (Grace and later Law Keeping)/ Scripture "Rightly Divided" into 2 Parts/ 2 Second Comings of Christ doctrine+ Soul Sleep in God's Word.

A ship without a rudder... Jesus Christ is the One navigating. What He says takes precedent over John Darby, C. I. Scofield, Tim LaHaye, you, or anyone else.

During a foggy night, a hundred year ago, an admiral on the bridge of a large, powerful ship saw the light of another ship coming in his direction. He ordered a sailor to use a bright light to send Morse Code to the other ship, ordering the other ship to turn 15 degrees starboard. The other ship flashed back for the admiral's ship to turn 15 degrees starboard.

The admiral was quite upset at this turn of events, so he had the sailor to flash back that he was an admiral in command of a U.S.S. Destroyer and the other ship would turn 15 degrees starboard, instead.

The message he got back said that the other person was a Seaman 1st Class, aboard a coastal lighthouse and if the admiral did not want to run aground, he would turn his ship 15 degrees starboard.

Jesus Christ is the Rock. He is the Lighthouse. His words are to be taken above those of all others.

You can continue to promote the 2 Peoples/ 2 Purposes/ 2 Kingdoms/ 2 ways of Salvation (Grace and later Law Keeping)/ Scripture "Rightly Divided" into 2 Parts/ 2 Second Comings of Christ+ Soul Sleep doctrine, if you wish and also continue to condemn those who have a different view.
However, do not be surprised when your ship runs aground.
