Yes I gotta write my own psalm.
David never wrote any on his mum I don't think. All the ones he wrote were about his enemies were the people trying to kill him cos he was King.

I wonder if there's any bible mothers I could relate to. I was going to hide out in church tonight but was tired and I don't think they'd let me sleep in their pews and stay overnight. They were having a community meal, I was meant to help but couldn't face the chatter. Then I got home and mum wanted me to take her shopping to get dinner. Then wanted to get me to cook it. I am just about falling asleep. If I cooked it, I might burn it.

I am growing weary of well doing and just want to be alone. She's now watching idol..and I can't stand it cos they always yell and scream on that show over people singing. I need peace and quiet.
it was raining today and went to the mall for a while but you can't hang out for too long at the mall cos of people trying to sell you stuff. And if I go to the library, I bump into people I used to work with and they always ask me if I'm still here and working. arrgh.

We are spiritually mature when we love others more than ourselves, and when we are turning our lives completely over to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

As far as staying young physically, no one looks forward to getting older. But getting older has its blessings in disguise. It can make one more compassionate, more humble, for example and, if one is walking with Messiah, one will grow more and more wise. The Bible tells us that wisdom is more precious than rubies.

Praying for your spiritual growth and development.

I'd like to know at what point do you feel you are grown up, and..is it wrong to want to stay young forever?

What does spiritual maturity look like...
And what happens if there's circumstances retarding your growth...what can you do? Is it up to us..I mean, God gives the growth.

you're grown up when you realize you'll always be a precious child to and of God; you're grown up when you stop striving to be perfect in your actions and begin to strive to be led by God instead (and we know that He will never lead us to transgress His laws, so this reduces 'sins' effortlessly); this also keeps you young inside, no matter what the age of your physical body is, because you always see yourself as a child when you 'look' at (focus on) God.

circumstances only have power over you if you focus on them. to the extent that you focus on God and His word, circumstances will change to match His exceedingly great and precious promise of life and health and prosperity and peace. when you focus on circumstances, you talk about them in heart-faith and give them power in your life; when you focus on God and His word you will begin to speak His words through your mouth in heart-faith, and His words spoken in faith change circumstances. this is spiritual maturity: to strive to rest from your efforts to 'stop that sinning' and 'live holy', and strive instead to be led by God - this is True holiness, because He will always lead you according to His understanding of holiness.

Well human wise science says we don't mature until around 25. Sometimes later for men. Christian wise I met a older woman who was in her mid 70s and she said even at her age she doesn't feel shes anywhere perfect enough yet to be considered a mature christian. So I think it really depends on the person. Some I know seem more mature spiritually then others.

I worked in a LOT of homes, and believe
you me, those adoring daughters and doting
sons and sweet as ice tea moms were very different when "others" weren't around.

I was "the help", they didn't care what I
saw or heard after I'd been there for awhile.

When they were out in public/or around others they put on wonderful performances...you'd of thought they were vying for an academy award.

What do you mean bfine? What kind of performances? You dont mean christian mothers do you? Im sure theres a difference.

I went with my mum on a holiday, she insisted in gatecrashing it, with my friend. And my friend could see how she treated me. I said count yourself lucky you dont live with a mum like mine..she had been somehwat envious that I had my family and wasnt on my own like she was. Her parents are in another country and she has no support or parental companioship etc, although they do provide finances. They let her do her own thing. She makes her own mistakes too, but then they are her mistakes that she needs to deal with. She cant just go back to the country she came from and stay home with them. Otherwise she will be smothered just like i am. It may be lonely, i dont know how bad it is, but for me sometimes id rather be lonely...
