My 12 year old son has asthma. Right now it is flaring. Even though we have had testing, we still don't know what the trigger is but he hasn't had much trouble for almost a year now but now it's back. We are trying to keep away from anything and everything we can that may be making it flare. He is using his medicine but it is getting to a point where he is needing more and more. Our next step is the hospital. That is not something we want to have to do. He has been in there before. Once in 2011 and once in 2012. It was horrifying. My son has very deep veins, you can't see them and they are very hard to find. The times he has been in there the needle had to be replaced many, many times because they couldn't get it to stay in. The last time they had to call in a Neonatal flight nurse to do it and even she still had trouble. It has traumatized him so to speak and the very thought of going in again terrifies him. I can't bear the thought of him going through that again. I am praying that we don't have to go to the hospital and put him through that. I am asking for prayer for a complete healing for him please. Our God is the great physician. He can do what no meds and no person can do! Thank you all so much! May God bless you all!!

Bless yer heart and his, literally. Praying that God moooooves and intervenes as only He, our Creator can do. He MADE our bodies and KNOWS ALL the intricate workings, and He knows what does and does not belong there. Praying that our God removes ANYTHING that is not of Him from your precious son, dear heart. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen. (((hug)))

I am so sorry to hear about your son, having been there myself!
It may be an option to talk to his docs about the possibility of a sensitivity to the propellants in his inhalers.
That was an issue for me and once we realized it, my health returned in 24 hours when I just used nebulized meds.
Now I rely only on my nebulizer when I need a treatment and have one at home (and a portable one for travels).
Praying for the doctor's illumination and guidance re: his treatment, and for his complete healing.
