Fat doesn't make you fat, sugar (carbs) makes you fat. IOW, the bun and the dessert are far worse than the chicken. And, last time I checked, nobody is forcing anyone to eat fast food. It is fast food.If it were healthy food, they'd call it "healthy food".

They do have pretty good sweet tea, which is the main reason I go there.

That place is my first stop when I visit the kids there. They can wait for me to get a fix for that urge. Or I could go to Austin, but I've heard the lines can be almost an hour long!

I love that you get to pick your toppings, and I have never had a bad dry patty at a Five Guys. And I love their fries (they always give me to much ).

I have not eaten at an In-N-Out for a while, but I remember the one time I did it was ok.

In-N-Out fries are much better IMO. Five guys are okay, but they seem to put quantity over quality.

I'm eating an starch based diet and am doing well. I think its more complicated that just to say that its carbs (or fat) that makes one fat. But in the case of a chicken sandwich, probably the chicken is better than that enriched flour bun.

I think that when people go from a SAD diet to a diet that is made up mostly of real food rather than processed food, they will lose weight. I've seen this happen, for low-carbers and low-fat dieters.

If you read the OP, this is not really about chikfila being the best, it is about how does their morality make them the best.

I have nothing against chikfila, I prefer making my own healthier grilled chix sandwich with cajun seasonings, lettuce tomato and mayo on a sesame seed bun.

How much does a chik fil a franchise pay its employees? Because no Christian would want people to starve or to be homeless, is it enough for people to not depend on any government assistance?

Where is it getting its food from? Did you know that 57% of all chickens in those chicken processing plants are contaminated? did you know that 75% of those chickens make it out of the place past inspectors? Does any of its foods have the food additive nitrites in it? What about their drinks? Being a "southern" type of restaurant, I bet it has some sweet tea! Amine additives are usually added to teas, wines, and beer. Apart they are harmless, but together they are a cancer causing wondertwin called nitrosamine. No Christian would want to hurt people for the sake of saving money.

A Christian business would definitely have the ethics to choose the welfare of people over profit margin no?
