I'm happy you liked his song! This is another smooth song he performed with Melody Thornton. It's a serene cover of La Roux's Bulletproof:
That's cool ... I didn't dig this one as much as the other one, but still, I'm not knocking it lol :)

Ha, the second half of the "B, I'm Madonna" video has the teens group I often dance with (I'm not in that video, though), and the girl at the end is my friend Jade! She's exploding with talent.
Yeah that girl at the end did rock that. I actually almost pointed that out :)
Bobby teaches master classes, plus at dance conventions and camps, so it's really cool that he doesn't just dance with professionals. This is a video I'm in where he's singing and dancing but the video quality is completely terrible - grainy and from an awful angle, and the sound is off, too. It's not that old but it looks ancient. It's still kinda fun, haha.
It does look like it was shot in the early 90's or something lol, the pixelation I suppose :) Ya'll got talent !

Okay then one more song ... I don't want to spam the thread with my own stuff lol. Since we're still kinda on cover songs with chill tones, this one is one of my fav's, hands down. Wish You Were Here by Incubus is one of my fav all time songs, and this piano cover is really beautiful imo if you just close your eyes and listen :), esp on a rainy day. I used to enjoy playing this on the piano myself, but it's been awhile since I've been inspired to play it :/

Yeah, I'm not as enamored with it as Goodbye and some of their other originals, but I like how mellow it is.

She's surreal! She's only 16. I'm actually listening to the song in this video from a master class a few months ago because it just makes me happy, so I'll share it. Jade kills it at the end again.

Yeah, the video from camp looked like it was archaic but is actually from last summer, as you can tell from the songs. I don't know why the quality is so awful. There are clearer videos but they are not on YouTube. I can't post a lot of things from dance here because of language and other content, haha, so I just snagged one that seemed tamer.

 I love it!!! You're so talented! You should definitely spam the thread with more of your videos! Piano covers are the loveliest.

Haha that's not me lol ... by my stuff I meant, stuff I like :)

Every now and then I'll post something for someone that I've played myself, on request, if it's for a special reason :)

Yeah she crushes it. And yes, I know what you mean about censoring what you can and can't post lol :)

Thx for the vid links, I've enjoyed 'em :)

ETA:

Okay one more lol ... it deviates from the mellow and/or dance jams and/or cover songs. But it's a song that's also one of my favs ... Bonfire by Third Eye Blind. It brings back gooooooooooood memories ^_^

Ohhhhhh. Haha. Well my first instinct was to want to compliment "you" on being adorable, but of course I didn't because that would be kinda cheeky but now I can just crush on him openly. I love boys who play the piano! :D I always have since my childhood adoration of Maksim Mrvica. I watched this video repeatedly when I was eight and learning how to play the piece. Of course I never even came within a thousand miles of playing as beautifully as him, but it was a fun way to challenge myself.

He looks like Prince Charming playing the piano. :)

Oh, and thank you for sharing your links! I've enjoyed them, and I'm glad you enjoyed the ones I shared!

Yeah I kinda/sorta thought you'd think that dude was cute (hahaha :) No need to explain crushing on him ;-)

Not to sound cheeky myself, but I love it when girls dig a guy who plays the piano too, obviously lol :) I actually taught myself, I play mostly by ear. I learned in high school. I was already interested in learning, and would sometimes sneak into the piano rooms which belonged to the band, and I would sit at the pianos until someone kicked me out (I wasn't in band lol). I played football, and even though I was intelligent (I aced BC Calculus for example), no one would look at me and think, "piano". Well, this girl and I fell in love with each other ... storybook type of stuff. I mean, the stuff of legend type of falling in love. And when she saw me play the piano for the first time, the way she watched me and came and sat next to me, etc (I'll spare the details), let's just say I connected the piano in those moments to almost falling in love with it. And I became obsessed with it. And that girl I fell in love with, wrote a poem to me with Beethoven as the key figure in the poem, and I became obsessed with Beethoven as well. I would find any and every piano I could around the city: churches, hotels, wherever, and sit at them and play, teaching myself songs, teaching myself techniques, making up my own music. And I befriended a girl who was deaf, but who was a prodigy at the piano ... which only further caused me to be obsessed with the piano, Beethoven, and finding my own voice with it.

When we broke up, in the same way our relationship was the stuff of legend lol ... so was our break up. Like ripping two worlds in half. And that caused me to even more become obsessed with the piano, because it became my outlet and would help heal me. In fact, from high school, I would go on to the US Naval Academy ... and when we first got there, we weren't allowed to have but only a few personal items (like photographs of family, gf/bf, etc). Most of the guys would have a photo of a girlfriend, or their family. Well, I had a horror of a home life, and the girl I had been in love with, we had broken up shortly before I went to the Academy. So what did I have a picture of ? A picture of the piano I learned to play on from my high school. So while these other guys would sit and stare at pics of their gf ... I had a pic of a piano :) It was a link to love, life, passion, and pain. And in my off time, as I could, there was this piano there at the Academy in this main Hall that I would sit at and play, and the tourists would come and listen to me play. And when we had leave, the other guys in my Company would bring their gf's to sit and listen to me play haha, which was a bad idea for them :) And I was still very much brooding and caught up in my own Renaissance thing going on ... all very poetic, dynamic, and I loved it lol :)

It's one reason I don't publish vids, because it's still very personal to me. Every now and then I'll still sit down at a piano in public and play, but not as much as I used to. And the few times I'll make a vid for someone, is on request, and typically for someone I'm in a relationship with :) I appreciate peeps who can perform in public, or show their passion in such a way that they don't mind who is watching them ... but I also appreciate the person who saves their genius, inspiration, or fire ... and shares them very specifically, so that when they do share it with someone, it's like a gift that is only for them and no one else. Also, my hands don't move as fast as they once did either, I've had surgery on my wrists. You can't tell from looking at them I've had surgery (unless I show the scars), but if I get moving too intensely, it's painful. I also prefer the guitar most days to piano. I need that spark in my world for the piano to come alive, and the last year that spark has become a fire, and not the romantic kind. So it's more guitar for me these days.

[/waxing nostalgic] lol

And yeah, Maksim Mrvica has some hawt sitting there playing :)

Oh, and thank you for sharing your links! I've enjoyed them, and I'm glad you enjoyed the ones I shared!
Hey and thank you too, I like the way you actually shared a bit of backstory to your own links. Makes them more personal, which is why I shared in kind ^ _ ^
