For sure, Jesus chose an serial adulteress to evangelize to the Samaritans. It is kind of interesting too, to consider the Eucharistic aspects of offering her the water that quenches thirst forever, without first demanding that she repent of her current man friend.

you mean the water that quenches the thirst for sin.
It is the thirst for sin that drives men and women to commit sinful acts. And it is the words of Christ (the Water, the Bread, the shed Blood, etc.) that set to rights the relationships between men and women so that sin does not reign in their lives.

You are free to misuse the word love though ridicule. Of course, you must understand that this is simply a problem with the English language. There are four words for love used in the New Testament and more in the Old Testament. You might look at the interchange between Jesus and Peter in this light. Jesus did not harass Peter with the same question, over and over again. Jesus used different words for love (or the writer used different words to help us understand the intentions of Jesus).

The love of David and Jonathan may or may not have been sexual. We will never know. We just have hints from the language used. However, it is clear that their love for one another was not the love of you for your parents. Their love was greater than they would have for a wife. Folks can google if they want to see an extensive discussion. In any case, there was no marriage.
With regards to the love between David and Jonathan:
First, the Hebrew word for “love” used here is not the typical word used for sexual activity. This word for “love” has clear political and diplomatic connotations (see1 Samuel 16:21and1 Kings 5:1). Second, David’s comparison of his relationship with Jonathan with that of women is probably a reference to his experience with King Saul’s daughter. He was promised one of Saul’s daughters for killing Goliath. But Saul continued to add conditions upon this marriage with the underlying desire to have David killed in battle (1 Samuel 18:17,25). The love David had received from Jonathan was greater than anything he could have received from Saul’s daughter. Third, the Bible clearly and consistently denounces homosexuality (Genesis 1:26-27;Leviticus 18:22;20:13;Romans 1:18-25). Extolling a homosexual love between David and Jonathan would be contradicting the prohibitions of it found throughout the Bible.

If there was a sexual relationship with David and Jonathan then there will be no blessing by God to David. David did commit a grave sin with a married woman and he did pay the consequences. However David did repent for the sin.
