Dawn has some fluid in her lungs. As it was discovered early, a daily diuretic dose should resolve the issue.

Dawn was diagnosed with Cardiomegaly (enlarged heart) about 2-years ago. I've always known that her heart will give out one day.

My heart is heavy as I am not ready to let her go... I wish to have a few more good years with her... as long as she is comfortable and not in pain.

She will be sent for a 2D-echo to gauge how much time she has left.

She might need a blood transfusion tomorrow... the vet has brought her own dog for blood donation. Thank God...

She will need to be on lifelong steroids.

Eating well, but, red blood cells are still on the low side...
