Prayers for Service Men and Women (2)

Please keep my husband in your prayers, he is currently deployed overseas and extremely discouraged with everything. He misses our family and feels like any effort he puts in his utterly useless. He's becoming extremely discouraged and depressed. Please pray.

Father God, praying for ALL the dedicated men and women who serve our country. May Psalm 91 and its protection written in Your Word be upon them in this hour. May healing, and blessings come to them and their families. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, your Word says that whoever goes to you for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty can say to you, “You are my defender and protector, you are my God; in you I trust.” May ALL sons or husbands, daughters or wives, family and friends in the military, and all our troops turn to you and find rest in the shadow of your wings.

To all who have prayed and continue to pray - what a blessing. I am currently on duty away from my family and am missing my beautiful wife and two young sons (5 and 1) so very much.
I am also thinking about some dear friends in the wake of Memorial Day. May our God comfort the families of Brandon Cyr, Reid Nishizuka, Dan Fannin, and Rich Dickson (KIA OEF 27 Apr 13).
