After spending over a decade paying off my tuition bills, I was finally able to move out into my own apartment, only to lose my job of 12 years a few months later. As I was moving my stuff out, my car battery died. Both times I thanked God for the fact that I at least had a good job for so long and was close enough to my family for them to lend help. Hell, I even tithed my unemployment checks :)

Not too long afterward, I made six figures when I dumped my employee stock purchase shares and got another apartment in the exact spot I was looking for. Subsequently, it turns out that my lone reference for the landlords just happened to be my supervisor, who was friends with them.

When the stuff hits the fan, stay focused. How you react in a problem often dictates how long you'll stay in it.

I agree. Although it's never pleasant to suffer or go through difficult times, trials can produce patience and other good character traits. In a way, I have found that difficult times make me appreciate the little things in life more. It is easy to take many of our blessings for granted. I also think that suffering makes you more compassionate and less shallow. I think the key to making it through times of difficulty is to seek God and stay focused on the true meaning of life. Life is very short and many things that seem important are actually very trivial.

Yes!! Trials can be a test, but in some way I feel it's those times we are given choices either to draw closer to the Holy Spirit or away. When in those hardships of trials and tribulations we dont sometimes understand it but the saying goes " If God brings you to it, He brings you through it. A couple of years ago, I went through some of the most tramatic experiences. I was depressed, because of a death of my mom, family betrayal, losing her house that I very much wanted to keep, loss of job, no money. All this hitting me at once. I was devastated. I always was a Christian with faith. But I was not praying and receiving with the heart. Just my head. I called upon God to help me. HE got me out if that situation and literally 5200 miles away from all that darkness. I don't just know Him. I have a RELATIONSHIP with him. I Am a new me. I am rich with HIS blessings. So if anybody is going through anything please keep the faith and speak positive over yourself. Times when I thought He didn't care HE had my back the whole time. ♡♡
