What you are going to see happening in the world is lines being drawn with many leaving the faith in the USA and other largely Christian countries. Those that remain within the Christian faith will be tested some will give their lives as is happening in other countries right now.

I'd like to understand how someone who sees the benefits of Christianity has no use for it themselves. Care to explain?

Let's just stay in the US. I would rather lines not be drawn. I would rather we coexist.

Wouldn't be nice. However, the tolerant world we live in can't tolerate the Christian's adherence to God's word. You may see too soon the Bible banned for spewing hate.

That is ridiculous and paranoid. The bible cannot be banned. And if hate is spewed through its use that only shows it is being misinterpreted. I will be back in an hour.

Incorrect. I've called statements bold faced lies when they were. I don't attach commentary toward individuals. I would not, for example, accuse someone of being incapable of acquiring knowledge. It's not my intention to get into discussions about the relative merits or shortcomings of individuals. Besides, that is not allowed. I deal with printed arguments.

I have the unique perspective of not having to be right. All I do is agree with the Scriptures, and God is ALWAYS right. If there were another way of putting Genesis into perspective as pure allegory it might buoy your argument, but neither you nor anyone seems to be able to do so. If you could you would. You'd say, "Here it is in Romans," or There it is in Proverbs." Do I agree with you to discount large sections of the Scriptures because some scientist said it could not have happened that way? Neither could the resurrection, and we both believe that happened; neither could the virgin birth and we both accept that; neither could the other 331 miracles in the Bible. That's why they are miracles.

Many of them, are also in heaven, with your mum. God bless her.
