There's not one minister that has a large ministry that's not criticized - some more than others. I've learned to listen to what they say, look at the Scriptures, sometimes I readily agree and other times I put it on the back burner - unless they are really off. The reason I put some things on the back burner is because sometimes I later find that their interpretation is correct. Of course, praying all the while asking Yahweh for His wisdom and understanding.

That's how I see the Bereas did it based on Acts 17
10 "Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men."

The few times I watched him I liked it but I am far from an expert on his ministry. What did you see that concerned you?

My concern is his doctrine it is so different from others. If you take Andrew, swaggart , and Charles Stanley; they all have similar but more different approach on healing.
Andrew makes it simple by just claiming and believing. Swaggart makes it as you need to totally totally and only focus on the cross.and you need to live totally holy. And Stanley makes it basicly if your living right and if gods will is for him to heal he will. If not we don't know why. Andrew's teaching clashes all those. He puts the scriptures simple but i noticed all three ministers interpret the same scripture diff.

I believe Christ paid a ransom for us and we are free from all sin. But we still sin. So if we sin because were sinners then how can you live a perfect holy life? We are only righteous in gods eyes by believing in his son. On that note, if you don't live perfect you don't get healed? Or we already are because he paid that price on the cross by his STRIPS!!? Or his will his for us to be healed or not healed?
I don't like the doctrine of walking around trying to live holy and sinning and wondering if its god will to heal me when all people sin.
But it makes since also you can't walk around sinning and expect god to heal. if god controls what happens to us instead of us controlling it, how is that free will?
Charles Stanley is very good but his teaching about healing is god controlling the action instead of us believing its already done.

I listened to him back in the late 80s on my hour long drive home from school. I was edified. He believes in appropriating what is ours by faith. I share that belief, although I didn't always. I think that he believes that it is difficult to step outside of the grace of God in your actions. I'm sure that's not saying it correctly, but I believe we are accountable for our actions, and in spite of God's love, we are called to obey God in the ability He provides.

As one who backslid and had really bad fruit, I had no question at all that I would have gone to Hell if I had died.

It's good to judge all teaching and God really expands on precepts already established within you. If you don't understand some of it, just put it on a shelf and endeavor to hear God and just lay hold of that which edifies and try to put it to work in your life. It it has good fruit, then hold fast to it.

God has used Andrew Wommack's teachings greatly in my life. Definitely start with his teaching on Spirit, Soul & Body and go from there. Look up the verses he quotes and read them for yourself. Don't pay attention to people who find fault with him. Find out for yourself if what he teaches is what the Word teaches. I can tell you that it does, but you still need to find out for yourself. Blessings!

In Paul's day, people found fault with what he preached because they didn't understand what he was teaching about grace. This is how it is today with anyone who preaches what Paul preached, and grace was the focus of Paul's ministry to Jews and Gentiles alike. This is why I recommend that people find out for themselves what Paul preached and to ask God to give them revelation. As the Word says--We shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free!

Yes, we put ourselves at risk when we quickly decide that one is right and the other is wrong-- and then dis/believe anything they say. Their job is to lead us through thought processes, but our job is to think!

If you have reservations about Andrew W and inside you're just having a little gut feeling saying "something doesn't quite add up, but I like him", I think that's a cue to walk away from him. With that said, I was introduced to his books and had the same feeling inside, that he seems ok but he just makes me uneasy (explainable or not), so I stay away from his teachings. My mom was really into his books though. We all have to figure it out for ourselves.

I was put in touch with Andrew's We've Already Got It teaching at a time when I was very battered spiritually, but when I'd had to let go of the reins and leave it to God, trusting in his promises to me previously being true. The particular situation resolved soon after this. Then along came Andrew's teaching and reinforced what I'd experienced, so I'm quite open to what he has to say. I do find him a bit repetitive in some of his teaching, but that's just a matter of style. I think I agree with most of what he teaches, but am not keen to just go along with it on his say-so. He advised in one of his resources, can't remember which, that it's no good passing on someone else's teaching without you've experienced the truth of it yourself, as you've got now foundation in it, so I'm going back to the word and letting God show me. I think that's the safest bet.

1 Corinthians 1:13

12 Now I mean this, that each one of you is saying, "I am of Paul," and "I of Apollos," and "I of Cephas," and "I of Christ." 13 Has Christ been divided? Paul was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?14I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius
Matthew 15 King James Version (KJV)
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
