I was wondering if someone could point me to the statement of beliefs for this forum? By the name, I was under the impression that this is a Christian forum, and thus my goal of being here was for fellowship with other Christians. However, I have been alarmed at what I am seeing here. I have witnessed universalism being preached (and the person who said something about it scolded), homosexuality advocated, statements like "I do not believe in a Heavenly Father . . . I do not believe that totalitarian dictators deserve praise or worship" in response to someone stating God punishes sin, and on and on. These are outside of the outreach forums. And nothing is said to the people from staff to correct them!

I understand that one does not turn sinners away from church. You want the sinners to come to church. Jesus ate with the sinners of His time. However, you do not want the non-believers coming to your church and debating with the minister during Sunday school, telling him and the other participants that there is no God, or that Jesus isn't the Son of God. How long would that be tolerated? The Holy Spirit is sending up warning bells about my being here, as the wolves seem to have deeply penetrated this place, and at least from my perspective, it is being tolerated and allowed.

I would go here --

http://www.christianforums.com/help/rules/

Please remember to check each forum's Statement of Purpose as well, as this will have additional details for what can be debated/discussed in each forum.

It's a shmorgishborg, unfortunately its a mix of religions not just Christians.
The only advice I can give in a case like this is to read the rules, learn em, and use em to your advantage when defending the faith.
Wolves in sheep's clothing is very much true. Nothing is as it seems.
