Hi everyone, I guess I just just posting for support rather than any specific advice, and just somewhere to put down my private thoughts!

I found out recently that I am pregnant, it was not specifically planned and I am very surprised and worried. I am overjoyed too, but nervous. I am 27 and married but I still feel so young to be having a baby.

I'm absolutely dreading telling my boss - I don't think any colleagues at my workplace have ever had a child under the age of 30 - and concerned about what other people will think because I am so young. I know I shouldn't care what others think but I hate being judged :(

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited too and my husband and I are in an ideal situation... but I just feel so young, especially since it wasn't planned!

Am hoping everything goes smoothly.

I will take time to pray for you now. I don't know if you told them yet, but anyone who looks down or judges another for creating a beautiful human life in their body is rude. I bet it will be no where near as bad as your fears expect it to be. And congratulations!! I am 34 weeks along with an unplanned pregnancy, (I only got married March 2014!) but it did not take God by surprise. He planned this and knew it from the beginning of time. Your child will be such a beautiful gift and just wait__you won't be able to imagine life without him/her. ♡

I think that you are in the best age to get a baby! I don't think you are too young, most people I know get their first child when they are 25-32 anything above that is already considered 'old' haha.
Also your situation is perfect, you are married and have a job so I think you have some financial stability.
Maybe you just need some time to get used to the thought to having a little family soon which is a real bless!

I sympathise with you feeling shocked but just wanted to say that 27 is a great age to have kids! I think women do things backwards... career first then babies. It's not popular to say it but your body copes and recovers best when you are young. I had my first 26 and my third at 34 and have noticed a real difference in how I've coped with lack of sleep, and how my body has recovered. Much harder to lose weight this time while with my first two I just popped back!

Congratulations!
