I must say that overall, it is much better in many ways than the old CF was, so I'm sticking with the new site and everything it offers. Thanks for bringing back our old emoticons and for giving us all the new ones to play with too. I was able to find all my old posts and the search engine works now. The look is great and easy to read, especially on a smaller screen like an iPhone. And the overall format makes more sense. My only remaining bone of contention is the public "Likes" system vs the former rep point and message system (which was private). But I'm even coming around on that.

I didn't think so at first, but I've gotta say, I like it. Good job CF ..:clap:

I don't know which one is which, but I liked the new one that started last week. I clicked the original CF in preferences, I like that one, even though it was not the old long time original one. Thanks!

Okay, so it isn't actually the original. But, it has a blue banner that I like.
It looks and feels good. I am going to say this is the best so far.

Thank you all for your help in setting this up.

Any time brother. I actually liked it before the blue banner, but now it has a familiar feel to it..
I think I actually prefer it to the old version that it used to be . It isn't so archaic.
Great job to all of you that worked on it.. Thanks for doing this, and then taking the time to ask for our input.. It really shows you all care.
Night, and God bless

I also like the new way and especially the new look of the email updates you send us, including the featured threads bulletin or update (or whatever that's called). VERY nice and very nice looking. I also appreciate the links you've placed in all the emails that make it so easy to navigate out of my email client and right to the part of CF I need to be in .. :)

Again, the overall experience is much better than the old CF once you get the hang of it. It is truly a pleasure to use.

Thanks again!!

Yours in Christ,
David

It just has a few bugs. I miss the faith icons. I miss being able to see who is online in the particular forum I'm in. And when I click on Alerts, it doesn't highlight the page names like before. Otherwise I like many of the improvements.

OK, one more plus I forgot about. What I write gets auto-saved now. I used to get called away or something else would happen and I'd end up losing everything I wrote. Now I not only do not lose what I've written, I can be working on my laptop, shut it down and go back to my office, open CF back up on my desktop, and start right back in where I left off on my laptop. WOW, that is both cool and wonderful. Thanks ..

I liked the first one, but this one is much better. It's still a teeny bit bright where we write our posts, but ok and the larger font is also good. Just switched back and forth and though I can read the posts in version one, the modern version just makes it effortless. The black bar thingy between posts is very defining, which is great. I didn't think I'd like the member info on the left, but having seen it, have changed my mind. :D Very concise and no need to scroll down just to read a post. Many thanks for the vision you have for CF and the work going into bringing it to fruition. :)
