I'm not sure what a sun lamp is. But a SAD light (or light box) can be very helpful at relieving winter blues. I don't think I ever had a high mood day with one, but it help keep my from getting way down, too.

I haven't seen mine in 6 years, and we haven't seen G's mom for ... also 6 years. :cry: We live too far away (3000+ miles from either) and it's too expensive to visit either. It's a source of dismay for me, because I love 'em all and miss them terribly.

Sleepy

It is currently -25°C (-13°F) outside. 47% humidity, and a light wind blowing at 13 kph. Clear, sunny and bright. But very COLD!

Dry heat is definitely better than humid heat. Since living in the Yukon, I've found the same to be true for cold. Dry cold is much easier to manage than humid cold. It's the sunshine I miss though. But the equinox cometh! :D

I remember when I'd tingle just at the touch of his hand... yes, it would be nice to have those feelings again every once in awhile.

I've taken it for two months, and so far the only side effects I've noticed is that it some times makes me a little drowsy, and it makes my eyes more sensitive to bright lights. There's a third issue, but I'm not sure it can be attributed to SJW. I need to research a little first to be sure.

No, they never helped me. I've taken multivitamins, fish oil, chlorella. None of them really helped. However, I recently started taking St. John's Wort and it has helped a lot.

My CF blog dates back to July 2003. I tend to post in it every few days.
