In the last days, the focus will be on Jerusalem, the building of the temple, its service, and the city declared as Israel's state capital.

All eyes will be upon Jerusalem and its development will be the influence of reactions from nations around the world.

Jerusalem is the capital of the Children of Israel, now called the Jews; and it is forbidden for Musims to demand it, just as a married woman belongs only to her husband and that is according to Muslim faith. They are mentioned as the Chosen People, as it is written in Al-Baqara, Verse 47, "O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds." They are mentioned as inheritors of the Holy Land which, according to all the Islamic commentators, is Jerusalem and the country around it.

Jerusalem – The future capital of the world

Micah 4:7 and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever. And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem

Jeremiah 3;17 they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all nations shall be gathered unto it; neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart”.

Jerusalem is becoming the capital of the world when God’s Kingdom is established upon the earth.

The Jerusalem Report (October 25, 1999), a Jewish Rabbi, Menachem Froman, made what he called "A Modest Proposal." The rabbi said that the Jews and Israel must aggressively frame the future and achieve a vision of "Jerusalem at the End of Days."

"Jerusalem" said Rabbi Froman, "must be made Capital of the World." We now have the "power and opportunity" to declare it so, he boldly stated, adding:

"Isn’t it only fitting that Jerusalem be the seat of the United Nations’ cultural bodies, human rights organizations, scholarly forums... Isn’t it only proper that Jerusalem be the place where members of all faiths convene to renounce their breeding of prejudice, hostility, and war?"

Rabbi Froman confided that, "Meetings and discussions are already taking place among (high-level) Jews, Muslims, and Christians with the aim of making Jerusalem into the capital of peace."

Can you imagine the Vatican moving to Jerusalem? Can you imagine the UN moving to Jerusalem? Going back into recent history we find Prime Minister David Ben Gurion believed the destiny of Israel and the Jews was to be at the head of:

"...a world alliance, at whose disposal will be an international police force. All armies will be abolished, and there will be no more wars. In Jerusalem, the United Nations will build a Shrine of the Prophets... this will be the seat of the Supreme Court of Mankind, to settle all controversies among the federated continents."

According to Ben Gurion’s vision, the glorious future shall consist of a man-led heaven on earth, with Jerusalem exalted as the World Capital of Peace and the Jews reigning over all mankind.

So an US embassy in Jerusalem is minor in comparison to the other grandiose plans of other world leaders.

It seems odd that Muslims do not support the Quran in what it says. Anyone know why?
