Says the country that's threatening WWIII over a couple of meaningless islands

I'm not a country, im a person.

Beside that, those meaningless islamds hold more oil and gas in their area than your entire state of texas. Its also home of rich fishing grounds. Israel on other side is home of...sand. There is nothing.

I don´t know why you hold so much for that worthless desert country. From an asians perspective its simply laughable.

Yes but from G-ds perspective it is paramount to His plans and purposes to bless Israel and to bless the world..... many Asians that love G-d also believe Israel is the Apple of G-ds eye according to the Bible. :)

Maybe if you see G-ds perspective you will eventually laugh at your own.

So is Alaska, your argument is?

No. Alaska is part of North America.
It is not even an argument I am making actually.

Israel is a part of Asia.
That is just a statement of fact.

The opinion of one particularly close-minded ethnocentric Japanese is not the opinion of Asia as a whole.
You don't speak for all of Asia. You don't speak for all of Japan even.
Your perspective is your own, and that is the perspective of a rather close-minded, ethnocentric sort of individual.

That is a rather immature argument to be making, imho.

science is immature for you? I think it is immature of you to push your believe system on others. Israel is european by its culture and has almost nothing in common with any other "asian country". Per your definition germany, france and UK are also asian countries, because Europe itself is an ideological continent and not a real one.

I never said science was immature to me.
I said that you were being immature for talking tectonics when obviously that is a silly point to be making in the first place.

I am not pushing my belief system on others. Israel is a part of Asia. That is not my belief. It is simply something that is. An apple is not red because I belief it is. It is because that is what it is.

Therefore what Israelis, and Saudis and Iraqis and East Indians and Filipinos believe is as Asian as your perspective—more so even, for few are so unabashedly ethnocentric as you have demonstrated yourself to be.

Whether or not Europe ought to be considered Asia is a matter of convention and language too, and not tectonic plates. The fact that nobody says it is Asia is as much due to Eurocentricism as it is about continental divides.

Nevertheless, the MidEast is a part of Western Asia. Their perspective is as Asian as your own.

The earth doesn´t care about eurocentrism. Tectonics are the only fact that matters. For me, Israel is not Asia. They are european.

Except this continental plate map shows a single Eurasian plate that includes all of Europe, the Middle East, and just about all of Asia. Alaska is contained wholly on the North American plate - together with lots of Kamchatka.

Yes Israel is on the Arabian plate - I never stated otherwise. Turkey, Armenia, and other parts of the Middle East are on the Eurasian plate.

Do feel free to link to a map that you would refer to as "correct" that is from a legitimate scientific source such as the USGS. I would love to see it.

On the other hand - I do agree with you that Israel and Palestine are rather desolate chunks of desert and it's a shame on us all that we condone the violence and death caused by both sides of this conflict. We'd be much served by backing out and just letting them kill each other for all we care. If they don't want to live in peace, so be it. When they're done kicking and biting, and want to sit at the adult's table, we'll be here to talk.

Barack Obama’s Arafat blunder is an embarrassment for the leader of the free world – Telegraph Blogs

Was it a blunder, though? I only ask because when Barry visited Georgetown in April of '09, Obama's staff made them cover up the backdrop because it showed the symbol of the Jesuits, which includes "IHS" (which stands for Jesus). So why didn't they catch this?

Oh, and Obama's unblocked 500 Million for Palestine that had been frozen by congress.

Might want to check yer facts on the Georgetown story. Georgetown itself says that it was to provide aneutral backdrop for apolicy speech similar to what they have donemany times before.

All Georgetown insignia are covered and simple flags and drapes are used. In this case the flags and drape were not high enought to cover all of the G town insignia and so that the cross and IHS on the top would not appear out of context the added the board.

But it reallyhelps build out the conspiracy theory if the facts are ignored.

I wonder why people marginalize each new outcry the right comes up with?

My goddes Amaterasu does not hold any special value in that desert land.

Aha so you are Shinto and believe in the sun goddess amongst other divines including the Emperor I suppose.

I doubt there have ever been any writings concerning Amaterasu and her inclinations or lack of them towards Israel, so trying to affirm that she holds no special value in that desert land is perhaps a tad speculative.

The thing is that the G-d of the Bible has placed great importance on the land and its people, and much is recorded about them and their interaction as a people group and specific individuals all interacting with our Heavenly Father.

By the way, you were surely aware that Israel is now a very productive land, the Israelis have made the desert bloom and use technology that has helped farmers all over the world with specific water distribution and recycling methods.
