Liberals got abortion legal. Not conservatives.

WA, my friend, this is incorrect. The Roe V. Wade decision was made by a majority consisting of five Republican Supreme Court Justices and two Democratic Supremem Court Justices. It was signed into law by a Republican President:

The Roe V. Wade decision was reached in 1972

Richard Nixon (R) was President.

Justices voting to affirm Roe V. Wade:

Blackmun appointed by Nixon (R)
Stewart appointed by Eisenhower (R)
Burger appointed by Nixon (R)
Douglas appointed by Roosevelt (D)
Marshall appointed by Johnson (D)
Powell appointed by Nixon (R)
Brennan appointed by Eisenhower (R)

Dissenting opinions were:

Rehnquist appointed by Nixon (R)
White appointed by Kennedy (D)

The decision was affirmed by five justices appointed by Republican Presidents and two justices appointed by Democratic Presidents.

Of the two justices that dissented, one was a Republican appointee and the other was a Democratic appointee.

The Roe V Wade decision made abortion legal under Mr. Nixon, a Republican President.

One small correction. Per the Constitution, the President doesn't sign off on Supreme Court decisions, only laws passed by the Congress.

Quite correct, and a Supreme Court decision doesn't pass through Congress either. They are ruling on the Constitutionality of an existing law.

The political standing of the president doing the appointment is not as important as the leaning of the justices. We often find a Justice differ from what was expected, he didn't reflect the President's position.
So the Liberals got abortion legal still stands.

So all those republican judges were undercover liberals? Hm, they could have fooled me...

Free Birth Control Lowers Teen Pregnancy, Abortion Rates, Study Claims

Yes, I know that people will try to disprove this study--using the Amish as a control group.

Give it up, the man is trying to eliminate abortions in a way consistent with his own church's rules.

And studies show it works....and that perhaps there is more 'collateral damage' from the pro-life position.
The only way providing free birth control lowers teen pregnancy is if you teach them "Well, you're going to do it anyway, after all, it's your animal instincts, so WHEN you go have sex, use B/C." And yet, most don't know how to use B/C properly, or are too irresponsible to do so regularly. Thus, as when playing with fire, you're going to get burnt.

Abstinance education works because, if kids realize what the sex act is for, and how it's meant to be used, they're less likely to have sex in the first place.

Romney cannot do anything to reverse the Supreme Court, unless he gets to replace them all with fellow Mormons and then a case comes up that the Supreme Court chooses to hear.

But if he was to try to do that, he'd have my support, 100%.

I did not say democrats or republicans, i said liberals and conservatives.

Conservatives dont believe in abortion - whether or not a party is affiliated.

Would you consider Barry Goldwater a conservative?

Conservatives dont believe in abortion...

Lots of conservatives believe in abortion in one way or another. Most don't think abortifacient contraceptives should be outlawed. Many think it should be a states rights issue. Many support it but under limited circumstances. Some, believe it or not, even get abortions, believing that the small child they're carrying is not yet substantial enough to be considered "a person", in spite of the clear fact that they are alive.

It depends how he felt on the issue of abortion.
[before my time actually]

To me - that's my primary concern. If it saddens the Lord - i dont like it.
Liberals otoh like it - want it - justify it.

Taxes and such arent morally implicating - but - it's never been a good thing historically to have high taxes. It is actually a different kind of greed, a less obvious greed. It brings more power to the government who arent supposed to be there to rule over us, so much as maintain laws and order.

I cannot think of any other reason you are asking - there are moderate and even liberal republicans today who are pro choice all the way. And then there are yellow dog democrats who are pro life - more of the conservative bend to them.

In matters of Roe v Wade, liberals allowed the right to abort - no matter what party affiliation they held.

In terms of taxation i suspect you would rather follow the rule of a political liberal.
In matters of life issues, i suspect you are very conservative.

I am not referring to party affiliations and taxes - more theologically liberal and conservative.
